OMG the lashes have finally been curled!! I always wondered about this step for you. My tips: look down to capture the lashes, then you can look up while squeezing. Repeat 2-3 times. I wouldn't suggest a wiggle, and I only curl BEFORE mascara! to me, if the lashes are stiff with mascara, there is a higher chance to break some off! Loved the look 💗

So many good tips here! This reminds me of my makeup for my wedding, my artist took forever pushing product into my face but it stayed on fabulously. Also, you’d be horrified to know that I warm my eyelash curler up with my hair dryer before curling mine! I’m obsessed with lifted lashes okay, lol!!

Seems like working off of a palette also ends up being more hygienic. With the concealer for example, the doe foot applicator never touches the skin. Also your freckles peaking through the makeup really elevates this.

I’m squirming watching you curl your lashes cause I feel you here! I usually skip that step on me because it does feel like I may permanently damage my lashes which I know sounds ridiculous. Love everyday May!

I've been curling my lashes for years and also do three pumps of the curler at the base and then one more pump about halfway down the lashes. Always makes a huge difference and also just makes sure they stay out of my actual eye.

for the eyelash curler i squeeze and release the curler a few times on each lash. that way it doesn't leave a crease but i can curl the full lash. it's hard to explain but i hope that helps. I also was not a believer because one squeeze and hold of the curler would not make a noticeable difference, but when i started squeezing and releasing and curling at multiple lengths i started seeing a HUGE difference.

Good tip about patting on cream if/where you need it. When I worked for Bobbi Brown, she was really big on using balm or face oil patted over finished makeup and it always created the most gorgeous, glowy skin.

You are doing amazing sweetie!! Haha! I cannot live without an eyelash curler, I do it before putting mascara, 1 or 2 swirls per eye and that’s it. Used to do it after mascara but then the mascara will flake off 🙅🏽‍♀️. No bueno.

I curl my lashes everyday, but rarely wear mascara. It just makes me look/feel a little more awake & alive! I’ve never really thought about what I’m doing when I’m doing it & your commentary has me questioning if there is a correct way to do it 😅

9:29 Dermatologists recommend adding oil to your skin, particularly jojoba or meadowfoam which have molecules small enough to penetrate the skin. It hides the flakes until they can come off on their own because rubbing only makes it worse. It works, like magic. Use oil first before moisturizer. At night, apply hyaluronic acid, oil, then slug with petrolatum.

As you get older applying your foundation, cream, makeup with your fingers by pressing into the skin it applies beautifully flawless I’ve been using this method for years the best way for me.❤

I usually pump the eyelash curler 3 or 4 times at the root of the lashes and will do like another soft pump half way point of the lash.. 💞💞

This look is so beautiful on you. I love the simplicity of each step. I've decided to stop wearing heavy foundation, just a concealer and the MERIT stick, my skin seems to love it. My skin is so dry, the full face foundation situation made my skin look yucky lol. The way you did your foundation makes so much sense to me, only where you need it. Absolutely enjoyed this video, was rooting for you with the lash curler, it's terrifying 😮😅, especially the first time. I learned a new trick for lashes in lieu of curling. Hit them with the cool shot from a hair dryer! Works amazing. Also, I just discovered Seint makeup and can’t help but think you would love it. It’s amazing for dry skin! I packed up all my other makeup. Loved your last blog from Eden Roc! So beautiful there 🫶🪷

The eyelash curler brands differ in shape and size and one might fit better than another. The shu Uemera and Kevyn sucking ones might be a better fit for you.
