Bought one my self two weeks ago 100k miles 5k oil changes all its life. Do u think I will need to get it done soon.

Did you do the Vanos lines or smg pump? If yes how often do you think it should be done?

@@VR-sd5di Yes doing Vanos line along with rd bearings this month (I've only done them once) and I've had the SMG pump done twice (had bad luck with this one)

Seems pricey for rod bearings… ACL brand bearings are like 700 USD for an entire set. It’s a 12 hour job at worst, so 1500 in labor at 125/hour (very generous here). Plus a few hundred for the line and mounts. How’d they figure 4k?
