Back some years ago i went in Austria at Worthesse show and there i saw a really cool customized van.. idea was of 2 nut-heads that got a VR6 motor in a Caravelle / Multivan and inside fully custom with only 6 comfortable seats, behind driver a 32 inch plasma tv/ satnav it was phenomenal but was mostly for autobahn & high ways not for off-road ..

Thats probably why it was only 110k. But in all honesty: what you want to do is buy a regular VW van, customize all the practical bits and bobs like beds, tables and drawers (so easy to diy) and then let a shop upgrade the upholstery (if you need that). The airride definitely is a huge show and nothing else but most probably the most expensive kit here.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great van, but for the price I expected it wouldn't be necessary to assemble the tables and the cover with so many separate parts, the bed is also simply a disgrace. For the price there should also be customization of the engine giving more power and perhaps an additional fuel tank for more autonomy.

Wrong base vehicle! Should start with a caravelle 204hp, 4 wheel drive LWB. Rear seats would then be on sliding rails. LED headlights a must. Tow hitch a must. Then customise from there.
