I Spent the Max Daily Amount in Pokemon TCG Pocket... and got a God Pack!

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is an upcoming mobile game set to launch on October 30, 2024, for iOS and Android devices. This game aims to enhance the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) experience by allowing players to collect and interact with digital cards in a more accessible format their phone.

They should transfer the point system to the main tcg. It would improve the game so much. Having a random 10% of your deck not avaible every match brings a huge RNG factor in the game and you are forced to play extra copies of certain cards in your deck, just in case they are prized. Plus, there are not many effects in the game that really interact with the prize cards anyway. Cards like Iono that only count the number of points left, would still function exactly the same. If you want to keep the reward for taking a point, just let the player decide if he wants to draw a card or not.

A rare pack doesn't mean it it very rare it means there more then just one which show a star when you open it and normal cards can get super rare cards

I took a look back through the footage and the shine effect seems to be no different from any of the other times you get a pack with “good pulls”. I’m still curious exactly what causes the extra shine on the open. 2 rare or highest? A illustration card you don’t have? Something else all together?

Thanks for letting me know it wasn't any different! There's gotta be some guarantee when you get a rarer sound or visual flair, I think 4 diamond and 1 star on the low end, and of course many good cards come from packs with no effect. Overall doesn't mean too much.

About 115… it’s 690 gold for the $100 (500 + 190 bonus). Each pack is 12 hours and 1 gold reduces by 2 hour wait time. 690/6 = 115

Totally! I know alot of people are having problems. Im on iOS, and set all the phone information back to US after a download. I have a card saved in my phone but use Nord VPN with the app open. I'm able to buy this way no issues, but understand its not working for some folks regardless.

I have a similar issue, with Apple telling me I'm unable to purchase because "this item is for an app that was purchased by a different Apple account". Basically I think the only way I can make a purchase now is to log back in to my NZ iCloud account that I made to install the game, make a purchase there, and then go back to my normal Apple account. However, once the game actually fully releases in October, I think I should be able to delete and reinstall Pocket on my main iCloud account. I'll retain my Pocket account since it's linked to Google now, and then I should be able to make purchases normally.

How are you able to buy shit when google play store payments arent allowed to go through cause its in different country? Is there a work arpund?

iOS seems to let your purchase through the App Store after you store county back to the one your card is registered to. I’ve been looking for an android workaround but have not been able to find any.
