you got the dance line spot on: Hyo is the main dancer, Yuri, Yoona and Soo are lead dancers.. the big group thing is interesting bc back when they debuted ppl swore that they would fail bc of catfights and jelousy, skip to 15yrs later and the girls still support and attend each other's solo projects and cheer for each other.. hell in 2020 we even had the cutest moment of actress Sooyoung presenting the award of best OST to solo singer Taeyeon on Seoul Music Awards lol she was so proud announcing the winner 🥺 i think that's a big reason why the fandom is still active even thru the hiatus, the girls themselves r still so close and we see them tgt often

Yes the danceline is Hyoyeon- main dancer Yuri, Sooyoung and Yoona- lead dancers Sunny and Seohyun are lead vocalists- but were usually switched out for Yoona and added to danceline for competition back in the days.

But yes, GG are technically on hiatus (not disbanded) because some of the members left SM to focus on acting and other activities, but not the group. This year is their 15th anniversary so Sone (fandom name) are hoping for a song or two, at least, the ones I interact with.

Sooyoung got a big part in this MV and a lot of screen time due to Jessica's emergency replacement. Even shots from choreography rehearsals in outfits from the video with Jessica's participation have been preserved, then they were re-shot. But after Jessica got removed and went "Scorched Earth" on her former group-mates, it became so much more. Jessica blacklisted *herself.* When she asked SM to let her out of her contract in 2015, along with the thick non-disclosure agreement she signed, she also signed a "do-not-compete" clause as well. How do I know this? Because it's standard business practice, that's how. Jessica knew *exactly* what she was signing and signed it anyways, so she can spare us the victim-cosplay. And as far as "who betrayed whom" goes... the other members of SNSD didn't start up businesses which they allowed to monopolize all their time. That was Jessica who did that.

LOL you compare SNSD moves to 3rd, 4th…etc. generation girl groups (i.e. Aespa); just consider SNSD probably invented that choreo move and younger girl groups got their inspiration from these legends. For instance, Sooyoung lead the little footstep routine 6-7 yrs ago when Aespa were still baby SM trainees. It would have been more accurate to state that the Aespa Black Mambo dance routine copied SNSD’s little steps in this MV.
