The fact that Trott asked "Why?" before "How?" when Ross mentioned setting his flat on fire makes me think Ross is a rampant arsonist who only needs the barest excuses to start kindling those beautiful flames.

16:00 I love how Smith hesitates and stops here because he knows it’s a bit unfair to go immediately (ahead of the boiks) because he’s made them stop for him, which if they refused he’d surely would have lost, and is doing the countdown which gives him a slight advantage.

Fire extinguishers are great idea as that my job but definitely recommend just having one even if you don't use it! Abc power is acidic so any electricals will be eaten away over time if you don't blast/clean it out every nick and cranny. So you will have to replace everything electrical if you don't clean up and clean up like you have never cleaned before haha. Even having a fire blanket saves lives. Great vids again 👌

Geeeeeez. Bones. Now that is a call back. I used to try to collect those. I don't believe I ever owned many, but that had more to do with a lack of accessibility(I think a lot came from McDs) than a lack of trying. I do recall being obsessed with looking into the ones available to me. Much more than pogs or playing cards. I think remembering those made me feel worse than any "you know you're old if"/"X is closer to the moon landing than now" post... they were like "These are cooler jacks you can compete for!--" and dead.

The problem with wild fires is they build up so much heat that they melt paint off vehicles from 150 feet away, it may sound easy to combat a fire, but when you have to try and battle a fire without getting any closer than 80 feet (assuming you're wearing proper gear) it gets very challenging. The other major issue with wild fires is how fast they can move, a slow moving wildfire moves at about 6mph, so you aren't walking away from it, you're running, faster moving fires can be up to 15 mph, which means on foot you're dead. The final issue is the smoke, if being forced to run from a fire wasn't bad enough try running at full sprint with about half of the oxygen coming into your lungs as what you normally get.

Rollerblade Danny Aldridge pro's good value - excellent parts for around 200 quid.

Dear Trot. I used to have a bunch of those little ghoulish monster bookmarks. Didn't really collect them but had maybe half a dozen. I don't think I ever used them as bookmarks, as they'd fit better attached to a hardback cover, rather than hanging off a flimsy page. They were a bit too heavy for that... I also had some little rainforest frogs that were also "bookmark" style, but just used them decoratively. Ross, were tazos (The star wars things from crisps packets?) basically the same as pogs? If I'm thinking of the right things, I have the Emperor Palpatine one if you want it. ...Wherever my old bag of pogs is. Remember the Robot Surf ones? I think I had all of those.

Listening to ross' story and its ridiculously common, especially with electric hobs. One of my tenants burnt their kitchen down last year from the exact same scenario, paper bread bag on top, nudged the knob and yeah, within a few minutes, kitchen gone, building evacuated and smoke damage everywhere. Fire is cool but it is not your friend.

They mention sticker packs in crisps but I tried looking this up but cannot find much out about them. I remember getting them as a kid in the late to mid 2000s and had a bunk bed covered in the things but literally google offers nothing other than websites selling retro stickers. You used to find them in those sugar stick boxes whatever they were called. You got a fake tattoo or a sticker that you could collect in a series, usually of some other brand. I remember getting pokemon cards in something but can't remember what and I know some brands would have fifa cards when a major tourny was happening but you always had to buy the sticker book and I don't know anyone who ever actually managed to collect the whole lot without actually buying the packs themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if these gift packs only had a certain amount of cards that could be gotten from them as I remember getting duplicates often.

I've always found the thing of buying collectables or whatever in the hopes that they're someday worth a lot of money super weird, especially when it's a lot of people doing it for the same thing. Surely the fact that people are doing that will end up decreasing the 'value' because of how many of a given item will be kept untouched?
