As someone in my second round of IVF, I have honestly been terrified of reading this book (due to anxiety and the fear of hyper-focusing on the recommendations). This allows me to have bite-sized information in a less intimidating way. Thank you for the education and advocacy work you are doing for our community. 🙏❤

Have been rooting for you Erika! Your body is a temple, I pray that you’ll be able to find a functional doctor (no shade to Rebecca) that’ll be able to help you. Detox and cleanse your womb, change your diet. It works!!! Wishing you the best!

However I remember I had asked them as today’s eggs have been generated three months ago, should I do meds for three months then come for retrieval? They said no! Thats funny though that even though I wasn’t this much knowledge back those days, I still asked for but didn’t get the right response…

It’s not crazy to be your own advocate when it comes to all things in life - but hey ,you know that. If a practice is not to your liking then try someone else. Practices that are the most ‘ popular’ with the best stats are not necessarily the best. I would suggest looking for another clinic. No excuses should be made for the lack of personal attention.Plenty of wonderful ivf clinics abound. Many physicians who have graduated from those popular clinics have opened their own practices and will spend the time with you. IMO ,Mental health and personal comfort play a larger role in ivf than avoiding much loved snacks or water bottles. I for one would not go back for round 2 in that practice. Wishing you all the best ❤

Research Naprotechnology and find a Naprotechnology surgeon if necessary. I got pregnant at age 39 only 1 month after I had an ovarian wedge resection surgery performed by the St. Gianna Center after 3 years of infertility.

It’s very interesting how women who are successful in business have a hard time having kids and people who are not successful in business can get pregnant at the snap of the fingers. It’s a generalization but there is some truth to it. I wonder if it’s like an energetic thing, when you do business you turn on your masculine energy so much that the feminine winds down maybe?
@tannazdolatshahi5142Ай бұрын
It’s probably due to stress…
@hermanbanksjr927413 күн бұрын
I don’t think it’s that because a woman doesn’t have to show a masculine side of energy to be very successful in life. Just be very intelligent and be great at what you do. My favorite motto in life is “Be so great, they can’t deny you”. Your one of a kind.

Maybe talk about how millennials and Gen Z are the first generation to have trouble popping out babies, gen x and boomers had lots of kids, no problems getting pregnant, and no complications I’m sure Erika will not talk about this since it may go against a liberal mindset since 75% of the advice you share is not factual and merely opinion based off your individual experience
@RR-pz3blАй бұрын
No, Gen X didn’t have “lots of babies”. I’m Gen X and I know so many women who have had IVF! I also know some women who either didn’t have the opportunity to do IVF or meet the right partner or multiple IVF cycles just didn’t work. So, so many Gen X women.
