I love switching it up I love the versatility I love my natural curls when they DO cooperate, but I’m sick of spending the time and money it takes to do all that. I’m over it. Awesomeness!!!! I have a good friend who was a loose natural for years and transitioned to Locs. She started w/ 2 strand twists as well and LOVES her hair!!! It’s truly gorgeous. You should try them. You could always comb them out if you just hate it. I colored my hair about 4 months before I started the locs

@@thejaisymone tried to go for big but its turning out small.. sometimes I guest you have to go according to the shape and size of your head. I also have a little bald spot in the top middle of my head so the coverage of how the twists are falling may be a plus for me.

The side ones are intentionally bigger. My hair normally grows in thinner around my edges, so to avoid them falling off or having to be combined later, they’re bigger than the rest

Hey! I’m not an expert or anything so I’d definitely say to go to a loctician for a consultation first. But if you dont have access to one, try using a moisturizing product that already works on your loose natural hair. (I still have lots of loose natural hair videos on my channel if you want to check them out). Also, for your parts... that just depends on how big or small you want your locs to be. Research some different sizes, it’ll help you to figure out what you like best

I honestly didn’t have a huge unraveling problem & I think it was bc they were coiled at the root & then twisted. the few that did start to unravel, I started off twisting them back up, but I later decided to just let them do what they wanted to do & just coiled them during my retwist
