Did You Ever Build A Lego House As A Kid And Want To Live In It? ;-)

Loved Lego. ❤️ Built stuff all the time. When I was a kid it was very affordable and you did not get kits that can be used for one purpose only, but basic buliding bricks and you had to use your imaginaiton.

No I was never very good with Lego I always found it a bit fiddly. But I remember playing more with StickleBricks! Tho you never hear of those now! I was a child of the 80's-90's.

The lodge looked amazing from the outside, very basic inside with a tv that didn’t work properly.I think that they defo need some more staff and what staff have got need do better training and not serve or ignore people who are paying their wages at the end of the day. Food looks ok very expensive and poor quality a bit like haven… I think u should have been reimbursed for poor quality meals and serve, I can’t believe that is only a couple of months old. Love Caspar, Gaby with Caspar and building Lego together, he is so cute 😀👍

I don't think the room or lodges look particularly appealing tbh. Very basic and almost using the lego theme as an excuse for simplicity. Can't help but think of a hospital kids waiting room looking and the features of the room. I know it's for kids, but it should hold up for the adults staying there too. Looks tidy though.

Tim, I really enjoy when you are able to bring Gaby and Casper. Gaby is so relatable and you two are both class. And of course watching little Casper exploring and discovering things reminds us all to hang on to our childlike curiosity. I know you can't quite have the same family time in front of the camera, but always appreciate when you share some of these moments with us, Tim. I would've LOVED to do something like this as a young kid.

For what is included in the price, it is good value. I could spend all day in Mini Land! The accommodation had great theming, especially for youngsters. Very unimpressed with the restaurant and food, but these types of places are usually overpriced (captive audience) and Merlin, I am aware, has increased their food prices quite considerably this year. As for Lego, Gaby, there is now the Friends female range for you! And, late in life, I started building Lego! Obviously the adult sets(!) which, admittedly, are a bit expensive but greatly enjoyable and relaxing. Great seeing Thumps and his reactions to everything.

Actually really glad that you didn't get to book the bigger option of accommodation. Whilst I really enjoy seeing all of the suites and fancy places that you stay, I think a balance between what most people might actually book and those is great. I've missed that on your channel in recent months. This place just looks so much fun for kids and more relaxed than the hotel.

Having those router ports is an absolute godsend and is actually pretty advanced. And I wish more places would offer it. It's a direct link to the Internet if you're having issues with WiFi (which can be spotty and unreliable). It means families who need reliable Internet (for work or personal reasons) can still use it.

Its really good they have the option. I have found some of the ethernet ports in some places are filled with gum or something. Also people may bring a mini pc or console to play games on. So better internet on ethernet.

I don't think cute little Casper would be hurt, even if he DID roll off that little trundle bed. It's so low to the floor that he probably wouldn't even wake up if he rolled off! I'm a 60 year old woman with fond memories of Lego! Of course, I was never bought Lego when I was a child as it was considered a 'boys toy'...until I was 7 and my dad's brother came to stay with our family. They visited the local town and came home with a Lego kitchen build which they presented to me! I was thrilled! Couldn't wait to build that kitchen (being a girl 😂) it was bedtime by the time they got home and I looked forward to building it when I got up in the morning. I woke up the next morning to find the entire Lego kitchen built and left on the chest of drawers in my bedroom. I'm not sure whether my dad and uncle thought I wouldn't be able to figure it out (as a female and it being a construction toy) or they thought they were being kind and it would be a nice surprise. All I can say is that the disappointment I felt is still palpable to this day! As I grew older, I totally monopolised my younger brother's Lego!

Ooh, I read about this new village. The pictures I saw looked incredible, can’t wait to watch your full vlog / tour later on. It would be wicked if they had a similar village but exclusively for adults based off their Lego art, icons, technic (supercars), botanical and architecture series. Could have stuff like piano lounge, library, garden, gallery, place to build/create, shop etc… The mini land in the main park is really impressive in real life. They do sell loads of their adults sets. Some of them are over £700 though lol. I bought the bonsai tree as my first adults + set. Quite fancy building either the Great Pyramid of Giza or Van Gough’s Starry Night next.

As a ex employee. They shut at 5 just because it’s school days and it’s not cost effective to stay open later because not enough people will come in after school. It’s a horrible place to work at. Also the ride that shut in the rain is because there’s no traction on the tracks and the cars will crash into each other even if it’s a “wet” mist it has to shut. The employee that told you it’s an indoor ride was correct basically it was created as an indoor ride and I think there is another version of it in America that is indoors. However when the one in Windsor was made they (from what I was told) didn’t have the funding at the time to build a building around it then they just decided to make buildings next to it instead of just finishing the ride how it was supposed to be.

@@HappyT111 loads of little things that suck. Just to name a few: Lunch breaks count from the moment you leave your position on a ride so and you only get 30 minutes usually so from some of the rides it can take over 10 minutes to get to and from the ride so really you only get 10 minutes for lunch then you can get even less if a guest needs you to help them or it’s busy and you can’t get round people or the staff kitchen area is busy so you have to queue for ages. Abusive upper management, I had a manager call me a word that KZbin probably doesn’t like much so let’s say the r word used against autistic people and as an autistic person that wasn’t really ok. Also nothing was done about it too because it was my word against hers. I will say I did have some fantastic team leaders and they got fucked over by upper management too. Very little staff protection from guests, I’ve been screamed at hundreds of times for just following the rules I have to make sure a ride is safe. I have as well as many other people I worked with have been swung at or actually punched by guests.

Hello Tim and Gaby, what a nice place to visit, the house is ideal with the Lego theme inside.the park is brilliant especially with small town of places, and seeing vehicles move round on the road, the food was a bit of a faff to sort out and cold food.i would definitely visit here.

That’s very bad to enter a new complex and have no organisation of the restaurant and staff it’s difficult enough being a parent but meal times should be organised and pleasant especially at them prices. Thanks Tim and Gaby and little Casper 🎉❤

Me as a child and my kids who are 17 years apart all played with Lego's! The pain of stepping on one barefooted 😂 Casper is so stinking cute and you two make a brilliant couple. Great videos. I love it when the wifey and Casper comes along! Cheers

Never eat at a buffet. It's not just kids sticking their hands in, people talk over the food and most people spit at some point when they talk, people cough and sneeze without covering their face around the food and d'you think anyone makes sure their hands are clean before they grab the serving spoon/ladle...then you go and use your hands to eat. Avoid pick'n'mix aswell.

@@WalkWithMeTim Here's one for you Tim...I watched a guy in line for a buffet pick his nose, roll up what he dug out and flick it on the floor. He saw me watching and the look of disgust on my face, he just turned to his partner and laughed, didn't even sanitise his hand. If you ever want a borderline germaphobe with OCD traits to tag along somewhere gross...give me a shout.

WOW! The Lego House were so cosy and cute and for what is included in the cost then I would say it's good value, only downside is the lack of service and food being overpriced for what it is. Always great to see Gaby with you on these types of trips and I adore Thumpies reaction to everything. I still buy the occasional Lego set but obviously the adult sets, it is worth checking out Lego Architecture as they are top quality and very premium sets from the Statue of Liberty to Buckingham Palace, those are just a few! I also have the VW Camper Van as Lego too. As always thanks for sharing your experience with us Tim 😊

Huge fan and I’m sure you don’t mean it but sometimes the way you speak to Gabi is rude - at 20:30 you said “get to the point”, it’s disrespectful and there’s no need
