My husband and I spent our honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest, and we got to visit Victoria. I love that place. We are Oklahomans (but I am Texan by birth), so this place is quite different from what we are used to. Loved it so much. ❤

I’ve never been on a cruise. I had no idea how any of it works. It looks fun & interesting. And the views are very cool.

Leaving in the sun to Alaska in July… can’t wait….. thanks for a great vid!

I cruised solo last year on the Sun in there smallest cabin for 30 days. I had a magnificent experience. I love the older ship.

Totally agree! Older ships are great. I like the Jewel class.
@rodneyscales26484 ай бұрын
@@SuiteLife4Briggs I also sailed on the Jewel from Seattle to Tokyo.

I love my warm weather cruises. Did an Alaska cruise 2 years ago on Discovery Princess and I hated it. Cold, rainy, miserable weather. However, we did enjoy the train up the mountain to Canada - that was some incredible scenery! But overall, cold weather and cruising just don't mix for me. Lesson learned. 😊

I like a good cold weather cruise every other year.

That is a great time to go. I have been twice in May and it was cold. I went the last week of June and the first week in August and it was great.

Thanks for sharing, I'm taking a cruise on this ship in 3-weeks; What monthr was this cruise taken... I noted you mentioned it was too cold to enjoy your balcony even in Seattle?
@SuiteLife4Briggs4 ай бұрын
Well, on one cruise it was, on other cruises out of Seattle to Alaska it was fine. That being said I suggest a a balcony in Alaska and Panama Canal

So does a person usually need to have a passport for this trip, since it doesn't depart from BC? Asking for a passport-less friend...😁

Yes. All cruises originating in the US will have to hit a foreign port before returning to the US. It is a weird law from the 1800s or early 1900s.
@backdoorprod3 ай бұрын
Not a weird law. It prevents foreign countries from competing with US transportation companies that transport people within the US. So boats from other countries cannot undercut US companies by providing transport say around the Hawaiian Islands. That's why the NCL Pride is a US flagged ship.

Haven?

Sort of. You get the butler and priority embarkation and disembarkation, priority shows, but now Haven area with the pool and bar.
