I have experienced a strange, almost abnormal period of silence where my body was paralysed. I couldn't see, hear or speak. I was sat on my sofa in the daylight and did not have any memory of the 9 hours and 43 minutes that passed. My partner came back from work and found me in the same position, sat up and awake, but staring into space. I was rigid and freezing. My feet were blue and I couldn't walk or move.
