What an incredible vocal - - I've heard this song 1000 times, my band (30 years ago) covered this tune so I sang it hundreds of times, and never has it quite given me the chills the way you just did - and that's compared against Bono - a vocal god. It’s groovy sure and he’s a fantastic bass player, but the fourth note (b3) in the main riff just clashes with the verse melody. Because the original song is so ingrained in my head it makes my ears go “ouch” every time he plays it. ( 🎶 NO!! ). It’s like a River Deep, Mountain High feel under the wrong song.

WOW! What a gift, a new favorite with an old favorite utilizing their talents so well! I got chills all over this music. KT at 2:40....hot damn! She got the vehicle to really show a side she rarely reaches. And what a reach. The style of pomplamoose is SO intensely intricate. Great, great, great version. They are incredible. Sometimes the "additives" of two acts don't work so well, but this combination is magic.
