Conor, this video is epic. I really saw a lot of inspiring passion from you on this subject! As the mom of two adult sons I have long been passionate about toxic masculinity. I am proud and grateful to say that both of my "boys" freely express emotion through tears. I have held them in my arms as adults while they cried and I feel there is no more sacred honor that I could receive. I have also spent the last couple of years really genuinely working through some pretty intense repressed trauma myself. I can tell you that crying, long and hard, has been a huge part of my healing. Catharsis is critical for optimal health, mental and physical. That's the very elemental purpose of art, music, theater--to bring humans to catharsis. Please keep talking about this! It is so needed. Much love.

We need more men like you in this world Conor, you're exactly what is so needed, this distorted masculine energy causes so much pain.

I love this so much, Conor. Thank you!! I cry several times per day, for many different emotions.... Sadness, yes, but also when my lovely daughters draw joy out of me, or when I need stress/anxiety relief, and for other reasons. I no longer mind how often I cry. However, others certainly do mind! They are always so concerned or put off by it, even when I explain that I'm just fine and that I love to cry 😂😂 Anyway, thank you for your compassionate thoughts on this topic and for your acceptance and encouragement. Much love from Portland, Theresa 💜

If you feel comfortable sharing, can I ask what makes you cry? I am a woman and I have no problem letting my emotions fly if I feel it, but I don't find much to cry about unless I watch a video or something that makes me cry. In my life, it's relatively stress free, I find I don't cry about personal things very often.

Crying is cleaning of the soul. I'm a man and I cry a lot because when it happens I know my soul is cleaning itself.

YES! I was wrong about you Connor, I thought you were going to be talking about macho bullshit, when really us men need to embrace our feminine side (believe it or not) like crying for instance. Like you, I haven't cried in years, and I've been wanting to for years. Brilliant video, thanks Connor.

You haven't discovered some elixir of healthy living by crying twice a week. A man who gets off by crying is not to be respected. Good that Bridget (Alpha woman) put you in your place. Keep on crying.
