Deleted my dating apps a few weeks ago.Figured l was trying to take control when God is actually in control of every thing.I've now learnt to surrender everything to Him and put my trust in Him.

I relate to this so much. Every time I was on them I felt so much discomfort in my spirit, I knew I shouldn’t have been there 😭. I deleted them at the end of 2022 (actually because a man I met wanted to be exclusive), and I’ve never turned back. I ended that relationship because I never felt peace, but I’m grateful it caused me to totally leave the apps.

Good for you for listening to your spirit and taking a step for your own peace. Yeah I kind of feel the same. People keep asking me if I'll ever get back on them. Maybe one day but not right now. It's been 1.5 years of not being on them and I just feel so much peace.

🤣🤣🤣 we went to dinner twice, followed by a speakeasy after the second date and then had a game night. Honestly they were three really good dates. I was hopeful until he starting 👻 me lol

I stopped using dating apps too. Too many hook ups minded people and they treat women as disposable . Fated unions in real life last longer and are more intentional

That's how I feel currently as well. It's currently been almost 2 years being off the apps and I'm loving it here lol. I feel I'm meeting more people authentically as well. I can't say I'll never try the apps again but for now it's a no for me lol

When I set my mind to something, I get it doooone! Period! But I’ve definitely realized that it’s been God the whole time! Slash why didn’t I know you had your masters degree. I knew you’re a CPA though. Is a masters required for that? It likely is. I’m wouldn’t know girl. Literally all of my friends, husband included, have 2+ degrees. God surrounds me with greatness. I love this for me and my one degree ❤️

Lol aww. It's definitely not required but my college had a dual program where I could get my bachelor and masters in a different area in 5 years vs 6 so i did that
