Kreyol Essence is a great oil. However, for those on a budget, Arin Edohr has 100% HBCO at 4 oz. for $22. Their 2 oz. is $11. No it does not have Kreyol Essence’s fragrances and might be a little heavy for some types of hair. However, your hair benefits should be the same. You can always add you favorite essential oil for a better fragrance. I am sure we can find other brands that have 100% HBCO at a lower price. Just trying to give options for those of us on a budget in search for a great product. Peace to all.

i just bought the lighter formula one yesterday to help my curls not be so dry and frizzy. put it in last night and woke up this morning with my hair super soft and curl groupings starting to form after one use! can’t wait to keep using it and the smell is so nice and fruity 🥰.

You can apply it to your eyes lashes and eyebrows and skin. I got my castor oil from Haiti when I was there. However I got the original the original has a strong smell.

Chocolate is a migraine trigger for me when i eat it. . I do not think my head will appreciate it seeping in my scalp either😅 hope they have just plain vanilla or any other scents without chocolate? Even if its just chocolate scent.. i am paranoid 😓

I’m just now seeing this. I am a male and I’m trying to take care of myself. I bought this exact same one on a shopping day with wifey at Ulta also. My hair is thin and about 5 inches all around. I’ve tried applying this only on scalp after splitting hair and all. Yet I feel like it makes my hair so nasty and clamped up. I might be applying it wrong🤷🏻‍♂️ if I try to massage like you did, it pulls my hair and just doesn’t feel right

I just recently started using it and I love it as well. I was so skeptical at first because I seen the owners on Shark Tank and was afraid that when they got an investor, they would change or manipulate the ingredients and it would not ne beneficial to the African textured hair anymore. I have had that experience with a lot of products before who goes from the original owners to partners or someone else all together. I love it tho.

One of my friends let me smell the Mango, Papaya & Coconut it smells soooooo yummy! I found this line a the shampoo conditioner and mask at TJ Maxx for $10 a few weeks ago. *_The Haitian Castor Oil is actually more potent than the Jamaican Black Castor Oil,_* because it's not Cooked so long in High Heat like the Jamaican Castor Oil and *_it maintains the most Beneficial & Medicinal properties._** Haitian black Castor Oil has been in use for Generations.* Just dilute the Haitian Black Castor Oil with other Carrier Oils if it's too strong for you. Most are either Dark Amber Color or Black. I've used it all of my life and there's definitely a Huge difference from the JBCO. A little bit goes a long way-don't be too heavy-handed. Don't get me wrong most Castor Oils including the clear cold press castor oil are good for the Hair and other uses, *_but some are way better than others-Haitian Castor Oil being one._* People sometimes think the Blacker the Castor Oil the better. *_That Black Color in the Jamaican Castor oil is just Burnt Ashes that do nothing for the Hair._* Has Zero benefits. It's just ashes that give its distinct color. Jamaican Castor oil just made its way into the Natural Hair market at the beginning of the Natural Hair Boom reaching widespread popularity but *_it's not the best out of all the oils._** HBCO is cheaper on Etsy and another Online site. I can’t say that its making my hair grow faster but it’s definitely keeping my scalp moisturized and healthy that helps my hair to grow. I’m pretty sure if I did Jamaican Black Castor Oil on one side and Haitian Black Castor Oil on the other my hair would probably grow at the exact same speed. I just prefer the Haitian oil over the Jamaican oil now because I love it so much! ☺️🥰
