I was also molested to by a family member and in special Ed all through school , became also addicted to sex, addicted to masterbation, porn , video games , was self center , prideful , arrogant . . I Cheated on all my gf . Almost committed suicide became an alcoholic, went to jail twice , was 11,000$ in debt and yet God still saved me !! Hallelujah thank you Jesus !!! 🙏🙌 His testimony is powerful !! ALL GLORY TO GOD!! Now I’m married have 2 beautiful children & a house a wonderful wife ! ! And most importantly filled completely by the spirit !! Don’t ever give up and lock those eyes on Jesus and read His word! For the testimony of Jesus is the reason we even have a testimony a true savior, a true King, a True redeemer , Jesus is God!! Call on the name of the Lord!!! Jesus !!

@Ashley, I pray for them to repent. As a survivor and healed scars of shame, unworthiness, and all that comes with molestation, I long for them to stand before the Great White Throne judgement. The untold souls that are in addiction, self harm and hardened against yielding due to trust issues will be judged millstone and all that. Then molesters will be overwhelmed with shame.

God used my dog to show me I worship my desire to do drugs more than obey Him. My dog got diagnosed with cancer and I was sober from caffeine, alcohol and weed for 9 days fasting for an answer to my prayer for my dog's health (the longest I've been sober in my adulthood). When I use drugs, I am making a false god out of my desire to numb myself and also abusing, and my body (His temple) and also abusing His grace. We already have the power to refuse to abuse with the Holy Spirit in us, yet with our addictive tendencies we act like slaves to the flesh. I made a joke out of selfie and put angel wings, lightening, and a crown to remind myself every time I use substances to numb the pain, I am worshipping myself. Many addicts learn to depend on substances than people for comfort and it took God and there was no amount of food, alcohol, or drugs that could calm the anxiety I felt for my dog I could only fall asleep listening to the Christian broadcast INRI here on KZbin. I learned that only God can truly help the pain that we self-medicate with substances

I remember a prophecy from a long time ago (don’t remember who or when) but it said “in the last days we will need far less experts , theologians and preachers. We will need more normal people transformed by Holy Spirit telling their story/their testimony to other people in need of hope in Christ”. I praise God bc this is exactly what He means. Thank u for these testimonies! My daughter at 41 recently died from alcoholism! These podcasts help me understand how addiction happens and how hard it is to break free. She had a good childhood and 5 years in a Christian school, but had great disappointments with boyfriend s . She leaves a 13 year old grandson for me to raise alone! Thank you brother for your bravery in your story. I was 44 before I told anyone about being violated by an adult. I didn't realize how it had made my life spiral in so many ways. And, one day I 6 months ago I was saved, and realized Jesus had been with me all the time feeling all the pain with me. He showed me forgiveness was for me as well as those that have wrong you. I have forgiven all that hurt me, and have been forgiven by Christ. I'm so thankful God loves me so much and waited for me to put the world away and be a son of God. Hallelujah!! Especially the part about the broken part and the feeling of needing everything to be perfect. 😢I didn’t realize how broken I was when I cried out to God. I think that’s what made me build my faith in him more was that despite my feelings of being broken, forgotten, and unloved he still continues to show me how worthy I am of love. It is a blessing that you got to tell your mom, I never told mine, she passed away in 2014. I never felt the Lord leading me to tell her. I believe God knows best. I wasn’t delivered right away from cigarettes or alcohol right away, but lust was gone! 😮 He knows what we need and I believe the first thing we’re delivered from is the thing that holds us captive the most. I'm 41.. and I'm just being slapped on the face .. realizing my own personal traumas, ptsd, numbness... I thought my life was good cuz I'm not crying... but I realized I have chosen to be numb.. I am broken.. I need Jesus to take action in my life. He has.. he healed me from PTSD, SEVERE ANXIETY... the way it happened was amazing.. but I do have other things I didn't know needed healing...

Hi! I'm Shea's wife and I'm helping him reply to some comments! :) I can really relate to what you're saying because I battle anger, too. One practical thing that really helped is how I highlight my Bible-I highlight portions describing who we are in Christ in purple and who God says He is in green (you can pick whatever colors you want) and when I'm struggling I can quickly find the verses reminding me of who I am in Christ and it helps more than I thought it would. I also feel closer to Him in my downfalls when I look to those highlights. Hope that helps! God bless you!

I understand the struggle. I suffer from health issues as well. Hemochromatosis, compromised lungs from smoking the junk, and pain in my whole body I deal with daily. I know no other solution but to keep seek after Jesus. I walked away from the life, but that life had consequences. Some days its really tough, I'm sorry you are experiencing these thoughts, feelings and physical experiences. I know Jesus is the answer, not always easy to dial in on, but He is. I will be praying for you.

My God…. This story …This story…. Made me not feel alone! The emptiness and yearning for deliverance… I’d give all my worldly possessions, just have the peace of Christ! As a young boy lost and alone in my room and after talking to god for days with no response I thought I would try talking to the devil. I got an immediate response. Before I could finish my sentence I became frozen in my bed and a very loud rumbling and heat begin to surround me. It felt like being in the middle of a volcano. Then I hear a loud voice say with authority "you will feel the devils wrath" It scared me to death and i told everyone i knew that god and the devil were real and that he spoke to me and i told them what he had said. I was about 14 when that happened. fast forward to now I'm almost 33. Ive had multiple near death experiences and my last one should have killed me. The drs saved my life but god saved my soul. A couple years ago i started to need the word of god.. i wanted to hear from god this time not the other guy. So i started listening to the Bible and other books trying to learn who god and jesus are And how i can bring them into my life. Then it hit me and i started to cry... it was god that spoke to me in my room... why would the devil scare me away from himself? God told me exactly what i needed to hear to stay away from evil. I thank God everyday for how blessed I am and I ask everyday to bring me closer to him. I wait patiently as best i can to hear from him again. Until then I will do my best to be a righteous and god fearing man. God bless you all I give all the glory to god. Amen 🙏
