I suck at photography!

Yep, I suck at photography! Total Failure.
This episode proves it.
I stumble and failed at every turn in this episode. I tried to photograph this awesome 120 year old church outside of Ponoka, Alberta and totally dropped the ball.

You never know what you can get until you try. FWIW, I enjoy seeing some of the locations around Calgary that you don't usually see in photos. And having done photography as long as I have, I realize that some days are going to be more productive than others. But, even when I don't get lots of shots, I just enjoy being out in the "wild". Particularly when the "wild" isn't that far from a new brewery that I discovered recently on my way to the mountains. 🍺😋

Great video. 90% of the time we end up with OK shots. But that is the nature of our craft. Really appreciated this video, there are so many times I want to shoot epic, but… in the end it is the process that matters.

Were you disappointed by the conditions or your images? If the images are you thinking about your compositions? I think that looks like a hard place to get a composition, church is nice but the trees behind it aren't great. The headstones are all newish looking where you were standing. Maybe just the location?

You nailed it all buddy. LoL Conditions and because of the subject, my compositions didn’t work. Your are right , the trees, newer headstones and the cemetery’s location in regards to the church. Plus I was rushed we I got there due to time of sunset… boom, the rest is history 😂. Just means I need to go back, take my time and figure out a composition. It’s now a challenge location for me that I must figure out!!!! 😃 Cheers buddy 🤘🏻
