Looks like a great trail....I wonder if the Mosquitos after awhile just hold their noses and get passed the Deep Woods Off repellent to dine like they do in the CA. Redwoods. Looking at a Jeep Commander to start overlanding with. I am taller at 6'8" and with two V8 options I could get a powertrain to handle more weight. I have also seen the Jeep Commander's are not as much money as say a Wrangler Unlimited or other Jeeps. What are your thoughts?

I owned one for 100k+. It’s a very big vehicle. Very tall too. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you plan on sleeping inside. Roof top tent would screw that thing up big time. Center of gravity would be in the stratosphere. If you’re just looking to camp and tour it would be nice though. I loved mine and my wife wants to get one. Good luck if you pick it up 👍.
