Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. On my first pestilence game I had a little bit ago, I had got to late game, and was outed as having defense. I was upped, however the rolelist was like this (from what I remember); 1 maf, 1 vamp, 1 sk, 1 other role that wasn't town, and me, who was claiming psychic. The "town" was wanting to lynch the sk, and through some other leads that I can't remember, they knew I wasn't sk, so they inno'd me and upped the sk, who left. It was last trial however, so it didn't matter. Night comes, and I decide to not infect the last person, as I had claimed pb earlier to get me down from the stand, which honestly was probably not necessary. When the night ended, however, I got the notification that I turned to pestilence, and walked out to being the only town left. The mafioso and vamp killed each other, and I can't remember what happened to the last person. So that was a surprise

Yeah bg can't protect from a hm attack because unlike necro (who's the other astral attacker) who always sends a corpse or a ghoul to visit which hm lacks the ability to visit when they can attack. Keep in mind they're the only tp that can't stop a hm attack, probably because of an oversight in the code for bg that it only attacks visiting attackers and hm can never be one

My very first pest win happen last night. I wanted to do the silent pb strat lay as low as possible. I didn’t infect anyone for as long as I could, I was number 15 and have NO idea how I was never visited at all. But fast forward to the final 4, a necro, a surv, a trapper, and a pb. I have been a vocal unclaimed person who pushed evils and seemed as town as possible. Well with 4 people left it was role call time. Still at this point no one is infected. I push the surv claim because can’t trust em, thought they could be necro, turns out they were real surv, at night I infect the trapper because they can’t visit and necro used mafioso on me, so then I turn pest. Thinking TARNATION they are gonna vote pest, but then out walks only 2 people, trapper died and I collected my first Pest W. Then tos Karma gave me surv the next game for having no mercy to the other surv.

As cool as the Pestilence and Juggernaut roles are, it'd be nice if they got some changes to make them more powerful. First, they should get rid of the notification that appears when the Plaguebearer becomes Pestilence. Reward the player by giving them a chance to land a juicy rampage against several targets instead of the boring, predictable response of everyone staying home at night. As for Juggernaut, I think that it should gain Powerful defense at some point (maybe once it fully powers up). Considering how rare it is, as well as the fact that you can only buy Juggernaut scrolls with Town Points, it deserves to be far more intimidating. As it stands now, it just feels like a weaker version of the Werewolf, except it has a very niche and impractical Unstoppable attack once fully powered. Obviously this would cause a tie between Pestilence and a fully powered Juggernaut, but I'd be fine with it. NK's have a rough time winning, and these two roles need some TLC like the other NK's got recently.

It also feeds pretty nicely into the chieve imo. As it stands the Jugg HAS to throw for the chieve, with this they can get it without throwing (as long as the chieve is hidden until post-game)

Shouldn't have whispered 10 after 2 claimed Exe to you. You tipped them off that they were a fellow Mafia. There was a chance that they could've made a mistake and say that 10 was their target, revealing them to be fake Exe. That's why they waited before telling you that 3 was their target. Heck, you could've whispered 3 and 8 after that interaction to trick 2.

Death transformation would have something to do with dead players while War would interact with killing roles. One of them could be brought out by another role's win condition, for example some kind of ritualist who would have to mark X amount of players in order to sack them alongside themselves to turn one of the marked players into it?

Actually realized if 15 wanted to, for future players who want to chain, after you're jailed you can test the other by asking "hey did you go on me last night" and see if they got the message that you were jailed. It wouldn't work if they were a framer or a similar role who chose to go on you consistently just incase of LO's, but this would significantly dwindle down the amount of possible roles they could be and prove that they are someone who is fake claiming

Town protection chain. Where doc heals eachother, or other healing/guarding role protect you. (You could also get tricked and noone was protecting you, or it was a potion master who healed you, or a maf/other killing role who didn't target you). But it's pretty powerful if you got it set up, since noone could kill you (and your healed partner). Voting power and what knot, if both of you made it to late game and there's a 2v1 scenario or something like that.

Tbh the second game is kinda indicative on how leavers and afk people can mess up games, with hypnotist leaving a possible 4 mafia game, 11 being afk sitting on a wealth of information, and 5 rage quitting a game they could have won if they just roleblocked pipe one more time.
