That was a rollercoaster. Pb wanting to be silent. Maf getting lynched. A hidden silent sk before Pest comes out. Then a very fortunate bluff to spin the trapper as the last lynch to seal the game. People claiming 6 and 12 threw are just salty they hard pushed with nothing more then an assumption and 1 persons will that could've easily been faked. The PB totally deserved that win, and Pipe picked the perfect time with that protect to save him.

Perhaps they didn't have my experience, but I am one of the sweatiest town of Salem players in the game. Not only did 1) 2 claim doc day 5 2) 2 didn't want to chain when I asked day 1 3) 2 whispered pipe multiple things without anything coming of it But he also counter pushed like an evil. Usually townies would ask for a will and for proof that I'm BG before counter pushing but he skipped that step. I gave the probability that 2 was pesti much higher than the trapper because of the trapper's night 2 and their townie-like proactivity

@@SickenerAbore nobody asked 2 for a claim till day 5, plus trying to tp chain has the risk of just being used as a shield, or getting pushed as fake later by a fake trapper. Plus Trapper/tracker is a common pb/pest claim. They can easily fake it since the infection spread can be used to fake traps or where someone went. The doctor claim was honestly the better claim since its honestly hard to rotate through different players and find some that's being attacked by a basic attack without risking being caught in a rampage, ambush, crus, vet, etc. Also BMer's are common enough that unless they are maf, any experienced player wouldn't reveal their role right away until they got a good feeling there's no bmer. And 10 didn't hard push till the end and the only thing at the time was his will claim, and a random accusation from 3. So of course a counter push to protect is expected when everyone else is confirmed but yourself and the one pushing you. An Pest would want to quickly lynch another town and get it to night before people can think too long about it, so the hard push could be considered an evil role move too. Even if you give a hard pusher a will, they can just tunnel vision and call it fake just to get you lynched, or the sus off them. I can only assume something similar to that was going through 12's head. A pest would want to take advantage of a BG's random accusation and push the last townie they needed out to win.

You could hard confirm yourself without having to waste a protection, you could make secret plans without being overheard by blackmailer, hell you should even be able to communicate from beyond the grave because death doesn't affect GA abilities.

Single Night+Day worth of near complete invulnerability already makes room for some interesting plays without being overpowered. I think having doubts regarding GA is fine. Remember, GA is not only invulnerability for the target but also an accomplice and an extra vote. If the GA died then it would be fine to have night chat with target. This would make things interesting especially for "medium" plays.

The turnaround shouldn't have happened if they read chat logs, I would trust a trapper who claims to see a tracker visit n2 than a conveniently bad doc claim day 5. 2s only bad idea was claiming doctor, and it was only bad since I saw right through it.

The problem in that argument is the tracker died night 2 saying they visited 3 on n1 in their will (and nothing about n2). A fake trapper could steal that info and that the tracker couldn't argue against the claim, but 2 could counter by arguing that there wasn't really a reason for tracker to follow 3 again the next night (when the trap would actually have been placed) after he didn't move the first night (according to the incomplete tracker will). The doc claim was weak, but there's not really any town claims he could make that late, and any neutral claim would be killed instantly. If he was TI, he'd have shared info, TK would have been confirmed by an attack, and TS claimed early. Only reason to remain silent on the role for so long would be TP or evil, so he didn't have a better claim available imo. The GA protect even saves a possible TP from the confirmed Vigi shooting them once 3 pointed suspicion at them, since his will even says he'd used the self heal on n4 before the GA protect on n5, so the protect makes sense.

Tbf tracker was dead when trapper saw that info, so it was known info, but also info a pb could get from infection. So it really was a 1f1 (also the "i saw the evil aka myself visit" is a pretty common evil tactic)

was there some misplays by 2? yes but ultimately convincing the other trans and LO that 10 was was pest was a good play, 3 was just very hyperfocused on 2 being pest (which he wasnt wrong) that he forgot that him and 10 could both look like pest as well especially 3 himself. you always have to measure how confirmed you look to the rest of the town when accusing someone. and it can come down to looking at previous votes and or simply who has the better arguement, If i didnt know by watching pipe's pov that 2 was pest his arguement was 100% stronger than the trappers because he inno'd the sk.

In this case, trapper came out to me day 2 whereas doctor was whispering ga and keeping to themself until day 5 which is a major evil alert

So I had a really great game as an ambusher, where lo spotted our mafioso, and Arso visiting someone who died and went all aggro on them. So we lynch Arso, and at night I tell mafioso to deflect by saying that lo was not on confirmed crus. Fortunately for us lo also happened to be on someone mafioso killed the second time in a row and not a crus. So it was the easiest deflection ever. I also got a pm killed that night, who went to kill the crus. Thus town lost some votes that night, and mayor who could turn around the situation decided to not reveal, giving us precious time to kill them and win.
