I've watched so many of Devon's videos and they are so moving. I'm always smiling and tearful at the same time. When he's drawing the eyes I can see sadness in so many of these people. But he's able to capture the beauty in every single person he draws too, no matter what they look like. It blows my mind how he can actually make us SEE people more clearly through a drawing than we can see with our own eyes. Incredible. Do they see the person with the camera recording? 2. How long does it take from start to finish? 3. What are the hardest parts of the subway passenger painting? Do others blow your cover? Do people leave before you finish? 4. Has anyone ever responded negatively to you painting them? I’m so curious.
