My family played this song as we carried dad in for his funeral. It was a way of my dad and us saying that we give it all up for Jesus as by doing so, we are committing even our lives to Him. We were committing dad’s life to Him. Makes me cry and think of dad, yes, and of the day we buried dad, but also reminds me of the fact that without surrendering all, we have no Hope - that we must trust Jesus by giving our everything. We are sinners being saved by JESUS' mercy and grace. We don't need the clapping or recognition as singers when we sing. Maybe bro Max delete that part of the video off the video when posting to KZbin. I'm sure that many times the audience will clap for singers with or without that being requested by the musicians. Many Sunday preachers say "Let us all give The LORD a mighty hand of praise (suggesting that the audience needs to clap for God in Heaven) But nowhere in all the Bible did any Disciple of JESUS, The LORD HIMSELF, or the prophets of God ask the audience to clap for God. He doesn't need our clapping. There is however nothing wrong with children while singing, (or even adults too!) clapping their hands in PRAISE to JESUS while they are singing. That is offering God praise. see KZbin video "JESUS Loves His little Lambs singing JESUS Loves Me..." Channel "Thieleman Van Braght" clapping at the end of the song suggest "You have entertained me very well, and I offer recognition to the performer/singer who made me feel good, or whose musical sound I enjoyed." But GOD in Heaven deserves our Highest praise, all glory going to the God in Jesus Christ for the anguish Jesus endured at Calvary for us. He is Worthy of Praise. We here on the earth DONT NEED ANY and shouldn't ask for it. Ellen G. White said that SDA ministers who love Praise, applause, and adulation, should be put in a small congregation somewhere where they can work without the praise/applause. So let us repent in JESUS name to be in His Eternal Kingdom. I myself am a singer and sing hymns & Play Harmonica and Scripture songs according to the gift God has given me. A few years ago, I recorded on my own computer with a microphone on CD (Compact disc) entire CD's with about 15 or 20 Hymns accapela and gave them away FREE of CHARGE to people in nursing homes, door to door, at bus stops, wherever. I never asked anybody for money or even a donation. When we love JESUS we don't need to MAKE MONEY off of the beautiful NAME of JESUS. Jesus didn't charge Max Mace, The Heritage Singers, nor anybody on this planet for dying on the Cross for us. He said "Freely ye have received, Freely give" All our singing and musical talents belong to JESUS. If all SDA singers on TV/Radio/KZbin/Internet or in every SDA Church worldwide would record music CDs /DVDs and give them away for FREE as quality commercial recordings (like Jennifer LaMountain, Cadet Sisters, Steve....Heritage Singers..etc. I've been told by these singers like these that "You don't understand Daniel, we have a Music Ministry and we have to pay money to design and produce these CDs/DVDs etc and pay our travel expenses and lodging". Well to every Musician in the World who loves JESUS, try doing something like the Apostle Paul did, who preached JESUS CHRIST (and probably sang hymns too!) to the Gentiles "without charge...taking nothing of the gentiles..." Let us start with the supposition that JESUS CHRIST is very very RICH and owns this whole world. He owns Max Mace's brain, his suit, tie, vocal cords, his group of singers, his bus/van or cars they use to get around in, JESUS owns Max Mace's house, bank account, money credit cards and everything Max has. JESUS owns the computer i'm typing this on! We own nothing! What if we could get DEDICATED CHRISTIAN Musicians who love JESUS the world over, especially SDAs to start some websites (these don't yet exist, hopefully nobody takes the idea and claims it is theirs, (I can't stop them if they do!) but start websites called "www.JESUSFREEVOICE.org and www.FREEJESUSvoice.net (.org, info, .com) and DEDICATE all music either live or recorded to CD/DVD or what is played on any instrument, sung or played TO JESUS! JESUS is WORTH IT, that He Paid it All! (Sing "Jesus Paid it All! All To Him I owe...sin hath left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow..." That we professional musicians will make QUALITY professional recordings on CD/DVD etc (for KZbin/Social Media Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc) to GIVE OUR BEST SINGING, our best performances lifting up JESUS as the Sinner's Only HOPE FOR FREE!! TO ALL the world! What would happen? It would be glorifying JESUS and The Holy Father in the Greatest way....All SDA preachers, singers, musicians, should go out to all the WORLD and be FOR FREE DISTRIBUTION ONLY!!! Why not! Why not do like I have done in the "Jesus Loves Me DVD 7,000,000,000 Billion Project" and write on every CD or DVD that you distribute "Please Make 7,000,000,000 copies!! For Free Distribution...or as many as you can. If You can, make 10-100 copies, if you can 100-500 copies, if you can make 12,000!! One for every legion (1,000) angel in Heaven that Jesus could have called at to save Him from dying on the Cross if He had chosen to do so! I like writing with a Sharpie marker, on each CD or DVD "JESUS LOVES ME!! The DVD Please Make 144,000 Copies". For God So loved the world that He GAVE His Only Begotten Son....The Holy Father so loved that He GAVE....Let us give to JESUS CHRIST back everything we have, for truly we can say, whether it is talents of money, voice, speech, song, intellectual capacity greater than someone else: "We give Thee But Thine OWN.." We are just stewards. Paul said "..Ye are bought with a price (The precious blood of JESUS) therefore Glorify God in your body and spirit WHICH ARE HIS!.." The Entire world with everything in it, and EVERYONE on it, including Microsoft Windows 10 and Bill and Melinda Gates, (Version 7 was my favorite!), Warren Buffet and His 31 Billion Dollar Fortune...& The Name Seventh Day Adventist, the houses, cars, lands, buildings, streets Trees, land, grass, flowers, animals, the WHOLE WORLD is GOD's property. We are the creatures of His Hand. Every single "invention" that any human being has ever designed in a laboratory, in a school, or University, including but not limited to The Space Shuttle Columbia, 747 LS 400 Jumbo Jet from BOEING used as Air Force One by POTUS, to the international Space Station, designed by NASA, to Satellites orbiting planet earth, to skyscrapers in New York City to Bejing China--the whole world was literally DESIGNED and CREATED by JESUS CHRIST, Who is Almighty GOD now in Human form. JESUS created Adam and Eve, with the capacity to Pro-create (cooperate with God in bringing every new life (Baby!) into the world since their time till now. Therefore, JESUS is the ACTUAL creator of the Samsung Galaxy S7 & S8 and Fax Machines, and Computers and Factories and Hospitals. He created humans in God's very image! That is why humans are so smart! We are however like "ants" or "grasshoppers" in comparison to GOD. LET us GIVE BACK TO JESUS everything we have, are or ever will be, for truly we are nothing without Him, and verily JESUS OWNS everything whether we recognize it or not! What would musicians do for a living to make money (Christian musicians) if they didn't charge anybody for their music CDs/DVDs? Very simply. Paul said "Let him that stole, steal no more, let him labor with his (or her) hands that he may have to give to him (or her!) that needed". Paul made Tents with his hands. Today people can cook, clean houses, mow lawns, do brain surgery (like Dr. Ben Carson), paint cars, build a house, take care of sick as a Doctor or Nurse, Physical therapist, paint houses--There are thousands of things people can do to work and labor with their hands to earn money, so that they could like Paul "...make the Gospel of Christ, whether The Gospel in Music, Spoken word, or printed page--- without charge..." to those who haven't heard of JESUS' beautiful truth. God has angels called "recording Angels" who are here with us, and making a record of our life deeds without any visible equipment! They have video/audio of our ENTIRE LIFE!
