Watching you struggle with the tinkers forge was painful (I know your pain) so I'll give you some words of wisdom, always make your forge three blocks tall otherwise you will run out of room very fast, also clicking on the molten metal you want in the controller will switch the output to that metal

30 mins in I know you haven't used tinkers construct much however the smelter is there to be used It doubles your ore output making it more efficient than furnaces also you add lapis to your pick in tinker table for fortune and add a diamond to upgrade you mining level

Watching you use the Tinker's station HURT. You aren't supposed to make the full tool out of one material, you have to mix in other (preferably wood in the rod and binding) so your tool doesn't tank in durability!
