That's the crazy thing about going to a music school, especially one jazz focused. Piano training in gen-ed, so literally everyone around you is set up the same as you, and the piano students are at such an insane level that you can't help but feel like your skill level, while being way above average, is basically nothing. It's hard to keep perspective when you're surrounded by the best in the biz
