I love the smell of this soap. So beautiful. Love love love it. Its great for lifting dirt from the body. This soap used to be like triple milled and would not disintegrate. Love this.

It's also my favourite bar of soap as a 16 year old.

My skin has been breaking out last two months and I have been using Garnier. Got tired n decided on good old imperial leather and nivea micellar water. Two weeks n my skin is getting smooth. No pimples no rashes no white pores

People have used soap for thousands of years. Modern soap with it’s many chemical ingredients definitely isn’t good for most peoples skin but old fashioned natural soaps have stood the test of time.

My sil swears by goat milk bar soap for her face. She has used it for years. I haven't tried it yet, but her skin is great. Thanks for another great video. 🙂

Hi all, I have sensitive, combo skin with rosacea & the pure goat's milk fragrance-free soap by Beekman 1802 works great! It's less drying than the Dove sensitive skin bar recommended by my dermatologist. Of course, now that I've discovered "Mad About Skin", I'm dying to explore other cleansing options...I can't wait to try the Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm 😊

Just out of curiosity, could I ask which celebrities have been using this? Soap and water is my go-to cleanser and I'd love to know who else has been trying this.

I love imperial leather but wouldn't use on face. Actually for me it's hands only because much as I love the perfume, my skin doesn't. As a matter of interest you're supposed to leave the bar standing on the label because as the bar wears down the label acts as a stand stopping it from getting all soft and gunky.

The only bar soap I have tried was clinique years ago but geared away from it as I grew up. May need to look back into it!

Bar soap HAS to dry out between uses, else it can carry bacteria. I put the last bit of bar in my lather bowl for shaving. Best bar I found so far is Pierre Cardin Blue Marine.

Great video. So...you have to have a soap dish that allows water to drain off otherwise soap just dissolves. Yes the pH in soap is high. I have made my own soap going on 6 years now because alot of the soap you buy in stores is actually some form of detergent (at least in USA) and contain so much fragrance and unnecessary dyes (bad allergies since birth). I can choose what oils to use, how much to superfat, if I want to add scent and how much. The point of my soap is to get my body clean and leave a little moisture. Nice thing about soap....glycerin is form during the process so boom humectant. Soap works in a pinch on my face but I don't think I would use it on the regular.....at least I haven't tried.

Thanm you so much and thank you for watching.. I need a better draining soap dish your right, i just bought one online lol.. Wow your homemade soap sounds gorgeous and your so right i would be much more likely to use it if it wasnt so packed full of fragrence so maybe homemade is the way forward Xx

I'm British but I've lived abroad for over 20 years, and I was very nostalgic watching this. But I couldn't help but wonder (and I hope I don't offend you by asking) from your voice and mannerisms, are you by any chance a northerner?

Wow you're brave! Thank you for trying this so we don't have to. Lol. About 4 months ago, before I found Hyram and James Welsh and you, I used soap as a cleanser and that was my entire skincare routine! Major cringe moment. (I used the Dove rose scented one on my face and still use it to wash my body in the shower). I've learned a ton of info about skincare since then, thanks to y'all, and my skincare routine is much better now thank goodness lol. Question for you, Rob: is there a body cleanser that has a mild chemical exfoliant in it? Does such a thing exist? I need to switch from my Dove rose soap (I know how much you love that rose scent lol) to something that is exfoliating and hydrating. I've used this same soap for 10 years now and it's time for a change.

I don't trust what celebrities do, haha. It's mostly them either them thinking they're 'all natural' and above our skincare knowledge or ruining their skin and then having their very expensive personal dermatologists clean up the mess.

Old Granny scent? The scent was created by a Russian nobleman in the 1800s. It's a manly scent unlike the fruity modern ones. They are girly.
