Thanks! I got mechanical, involved, extravagant, skill games with a medium complexity. I now understand a little more what your ratings of board games mean for me and what types I should look for!

Thanks for sharing your results. Because I personally don’t play many games with extravagant components, the site doesn’t have games that fit that profile exactly. However, if you slide the Artistry rating to the middle, you should see quite a few. Also, if you know any games that fit that profile and you log in with Google, you can rate them yourself and they will appear whenever that profile is searched.

One thing I would like to see about the quiz is getting deeper into the type of interaction - whether you prefer games with positive or negative interaction, given that you prefer games with more interaction!

So the first step in doing this is to create tags and begin the process of tagging games with their type of interaction: attack, interference, competition, etc. are you already on the app? Have you tried rating games? Would you be interested in helping me develop this?

I tried taking the quiz multiple times and it only gets to 20% then gives me the results. I don't know if it's because there isn't enough data for the types of games I enjoy the most vs what you've categorized. Would love to retake it once it has more data to pull from for all types of players preferences.

Thank you SO MUCH for the feedback. I am eager to fix the issue. I am fairly confident it’s not because of a lack of data but rather: one of your answers is triggering a glitch. Can you tell me what your #1 answer is on the question before the quiz terminates? That would help me identify the glitch.

​@@theperfectboardgame Sure, no problem. "A compelling theme that intensifies the competitive spirit." It then said my priority is "Design" after just the first two questions.

I looked into it. Not a glitch, but your answers were providing enough information that no more answers were needed. Still, it's not fun to have the quiz be so short and answering more questions only enriches the profile. I made it so at least four answers are required. Also, you are right about one thing: my app doesn't have as many thematic games in the database as it does mechanic games. It is unlikely you will get many "perfect" matches but you might enjoy some of the recommendations in the design list.
