The Diamantina is the perfect example of what sauropods should be. There is absolutely no reason that Diplos and Brontos should be so terrible at combat.

The reason behind it is probably because they tried to stay close to the Original they were prey and not fighters they couldn‘t do mich more then a tailwhip or some of them a stomp like the Brachio does from garuga and even that is probably Not true because they‘re legs would pretty much shatter

The Dino Storage mod creator has said they didn't realize the mod was dropping the bonus saddle pieces and is currently working on fixing it for the monos so I would assume it will also fix it for any other dino that has bonus saddle bits.

The Yingi was my #2 pick for the map. It really fit Aberration, being thoroughly cool and terrifying. (#1 for me was claimed by the Eureka, as I thought it likewise fit the map, but I believed its movement would have been supremely valuable)

@@robynakai5751 Nope, the Chimerarachne is a genus of extinct arachnids. They resemble spiders, but if they had a whip-like tail. During the Aberration vote, Kage shared the concept of implementing the Yingi as a rather large ambush predator that used hypnosis to lure in prey. I think it would have also produced some sort of valuable consumable, but I don't remember the details. It was really cool and fit the vibe of Aberration.

One dude I’m in a discord server with has said it’ll be just a rock drake but worse and while I don’t completely agree with his claim it’ll be worse than a terror bird I do think it might be kinda mid tier. As for the blimp which Syn in the video said it kinda breaks the map, I disagree, not that it won’t break the ascetic of the map but that it won’t actually be that useful or valuable. I think it’ll be just like the train where in concept it’s very powerful but something about it just makes it overly impractical in typical gameplay. People like Syntac and his friends and honestly a large part of the player base could get to the rad zone and rock drake eggs within the first like 8 hours of gameplay if that. I highly doubt the blimp is immune to radiation and at least it definitely can’t protect you from it, it’ll be slow as hell, possibly limited carry weight, terrible turn radius, limited field of view, high fuel consumption, high initial cost to craft or something else, it could be one of these things or all of them but either way I refuse to believe the blimp, or the car in extinction for that matter, will be that useful, practical, or powerful. The role players and server owners will run wild with these things for use in things like a train robbery or bumper car event, but in basic gameplay your time and resources are better used trying to get creatures that already do what the blimp might do but far better, such as traversing the map with a drake or even the new Yi ling

Hey, a quick little tip there is a mod. I forgot the name of the mod though, but it’s a mod where it adds like reusable grapples and stuff so you really only have to craft one of those when you use them since you can always resume them

The dino storage, if you adjust the settings to ignore weight, you can load a shoulder pet with all the things you need that are too heavy, run to your base and then shoot it. This way you don't have to throw it. It just puts its inventory into yours.

I think the "feed slot" is the zero, exatly to give you a hard time against thief creatures. I REALLY HATE thief creatures, specially the seagulls, but it is what it is.

The “feed slot” being zero has been in the game far before thief creatures were added, it wasn’t designed to give you a hard time, they were designed to give you a hard time. Thief creatures are specifically designed to be annoying in this way unfortunately. But I feel like it says something that personally I’d take going inland where things like rexs, sarcos, sabers, and carnos spawn over staying by the beach where trash birds and pegos spawn

@@TragikDino yes, but they made the thief creatures take your zero slot, probably because they wanted them to be an even bigger problem when you are passive tamming something. Thats what i mean. And yes, when i played ARK, as soon as i could find a place away from the pegos and seagulls, i go. And i usually pick a cave to live. Like the one behind the water fall in Viking's Bay in Ragnarok or something similar.

15:22 - No, the Diamantinasaurus was not in a creature vote. We did however have the Sauroposeidon make it into the Extinction vote, which likewise had its nasal air sacs heavily pronounced. Implementation-wise, a major difference between this Diamantinasaurus mod and the Sauroposeidon from the vote, is that the latter was intended to be an alternative to the Yutyrannus. The idea was that it had three attacks and a roar. It would grant nearby creatures up to three buffs, based on which attacks were used prior to roaring, with the strength of said buffs being determined by the quantity and distribution of them. So as an example: if you stomped 10 times and tail attacked 5 times, you would have given allied creatures a 20% buff from the stomp and a 10% buff from the tail. I recall it also having a mechanic that would allow you to attack slightly faster with it if you timed your attacks properly. It was also intended to have omni-directional movement, allowing you to go forward, back, and strafe. Overall it was a very musically oriented tame. The concept included a Tek saddle with giant speakers on it, and the conceptual tame method was essentially competitive Guitar Hero (player using the Wardrums). It was the creature I rooted for the most in that vote, but the Dreadnoughtus is a fine addition as well, especially for the "titanic map" that is Extinction.

If you use QOL+ mod, it has the pull, and some of the other S+ structures like the friendly hive, farmer, nanny, torches that don't use fuel, stuff like that. I really like it.

I think you should've gone for the Visual Storage mod instead - it has a fantastic pulling mechanism, plus the bases look beautiful with all the storage options. I loved it in ASE already, but the ASA version is just something else. Love it so much. You don't even have to pull for it; as long as the storage for a resource is in range, you can craft things directly as if you had everything in the inventory. And there's a crane to quickly distribute everything to its storage when coming back with many different resources.

Super Structures Ascended (SSA) is a mod done obviously by the same author as in ASE, very limited right now but has the pulling system and the transfer, breeding, other useful guns/tools just like in ASE in case you were interested.

I recommand the K+ Mod. You will have multiple quality of life mods in one with that. And you are able to set your preferences in many ways if you don't want someting too easy. Pulling will be much better with it. You can sort from what container to wich container you want to pull for instance.

The Diamantinasaurus is one of my favorite dino mods they are strong tanky can collect a lot of crystal and can kill Rock Elemental and Wyverns easliy with the mega stomp attack

I love the model of this creature and the saddle is so cool too cute name would be Aurora like in sleeping beauty.. Also would love to see you tame more to make mutations or get better stats even though its pretty good already just wondering if you could get a better one how much damage it would do and stuff like that. I love this episode. I also like how many attacks and moves they have and it really looks and great. If they were to ever do a another TLC for ark tames the bronto should be worked on a bit to be little more useful over then being a berry picker and a moving base this guy look built for battle even with not having actual armor plates and that passively making potions is cool too haven't has something like that before. See you in the next hope the next is one of those sea dragons and I seen axe seen and 170 next to your base cool way of getting a baby one for yourself. Looking forward to next episode.

Hey syntac, maybe instead of a big lip around your island you do something else cuz the lip is prob goin to block the view. What i would suggest is doing 2 upside down vampire teeth that come down together in the middle creating a open parabola so the view doesnt get blocked entirely. This way youll also get the shape that u wanted aswell as an unblocked view. Idk if you understand what i mean but if you wanna try it and want me to explain it more, go ahead and ask me
