Hey Hi! I am so glad you did this video. I had started the application process 2 years ago after 35 years in the classroom and retiring when I was having the most fun. I didn’t know anyone teaching this way so decided not to continue. Your candid explanation has me excited about trying this. I taught French and Spanish and loved it. I’m a dancer in LA and when lockdown happened I was on the verge of moving back home because all my gigs got postponed or canceled & my part time job at retail was also closed. Even tho I was on unemployment for that it taught me that having multiple side hustles is a MUST. I love how flexible this is cause I hate that retail is pretty much taking up my time and I’m completely depleted, I miss dancing more. I’ve been thinking of online teaching for a while and this for sure won me over.

This video was fantastic! If I was a parent I would definitely hire you to teach my child… you have great energy with kids! I have applied for VIP kids but my application was refused! I’m sad about that because I do have teaching experience teaching a college dental hygiene class but I don’t have a bachelor.. I have 2 years university and 2 years college diploma. Charlotte Knight , hello bad day today. My computer video quit working so I borrowed my wife’s computer which is an apple mind is HP so nothing on her computer works like mine. It took me hours to finally get it set up for the coaching class. Then the presenter send me links to study and I didn’t not receive them. Then she ran over on time and the class abruptly ended. Not a good day for me.

I speak, write and read in both French and English fluently. I worked as a substitute language teacher for a while at the High school level and as a immersion language teacher at preschool and elementary levels. Later in my career, I was training Managers, Directors, and Associate Deputy Minister in a very specific fielding and received an award for my services. I have an incomplete bachelor's degree, but many years of experience as a conversational trainor, language teacher or facilitator. Do you think I would be a favorable candidate?

They don’t mention anything specific about nonnative speakers. As long as you can teach the correct English phonics, it shouldn’t be a problem. I’d definitely still apply if you’re interested 👍🏼😊😊

As an ESL teacher I despise this, they underpay you, they have higher requirements that are necessary and the premade lessons take away the most creative and unique part of teaching. If you're going to get a degree anyways you may as well get a teaching degree, follow a set curriculum and work for a competitive salary and benefits.
