Hi, I'm from Naples. That area is a part of the "Spanish districts". The name refers to the spanish military garrisons that were located in there during the XVI century. The name stayed but now it has no connection to Spain or Spanish people

Mad car drivers aside, Naples is not more dangerous than many metropolitan cities. It has a lower murder rate than London and a lower theft rate than Barcelona.
