I audited Harris County and never saw fees paid to judges or another place than a general or special purpose fund. Without researching it I've never seen a Judge keep all fees as pay for themselves. Seems clear that it's misappropriation of government funds by a public servant. I'm wondering why other jurisdictions don't have a history of judges keeping all fees as their pay. State and Federal should review judges keeping court money for themselves. I'd move out of the County first.

IMO… ALL people who work in ANY branch of government, or public service should earn the same pay as a rookie LEO…No stipends, per diem, commissions, or supplements of ANY kind! Like any other employee, pay increase should be based on evaluations of performance at scheduled intervals, NEVER exceeding twice minimum wage when all the perks are calculated! When the power of pay is left in the hands of public servants it will eventually be exploited by greed…They will create legal loopholes that absolve them of unethical, or criminal actions! All we need do is look at the three branches of DC government… 🦋Lily🦋

When your wife gets out, take the judge to court for false imprisonment. She's already in hot water for other corrupt behavior against regular citizens, might as well have her jail or taken to court for her bad behavior. I have changed my name in court before and never had this type of problem that your wife had with this corrupt judge. The new judge needs to wipe that charge of her record. All the money she stole from everyone, needs to be garnished from her bank account and given back to the victims and used to help the homeless. Her salary is $127,000 a year, she got greedy and decides it's ok to con and cheat people. She's a conman in a Judge's robe. Abused her authority/power.

It’s a conflict of interest to allow anyone- especially a judge, to keep taxpayers fines! It’s legal?!

She didn't break the law, she is well within her rights. In the words of the billionaire Donald Trump when he admitted that he found a loophole to not pay taxes, "that makes" her "smart". 🤷🤷

You’re just as corrupt if you think this isn’t a problem. It’s a conflict of interest when there is incentive to jail people in order to make money off them as a JUDGE! You the taxpayer are paying the fees to house, feed those sitting in county jail awaiting arraignment. It doesn’t benefit taxpayers or the city. It only benefits her to incriminate people. The fees are directly paid out to this crooked judge. It becomes business for her to jail civilians in order to line her deep pockets. $$$

Technically speaking you are correct, but if the immigration officials had caught her "mistake" she would be deported and her husband would be in jail. What Trump did was called "tax avoidance" which is totally legal vs "tax evasion" which is totally illegal.

I can see her now with her peers jokingly saying "NO CAP". Perhaps if she was taking some of the funds and donating them to charity or give it back to the community then it wouldn't seem so bad. Edit: At least she isn't stealing it, like most of them do. Maybe she's investing the money or saving for retirement.

@@darjohnston4222 I edited my comment. I meant IF she was giving some of it to charity or putting it in the community it wouldn't seem so bad. She also needs to be honest about what she's doing. Like she's trying to be sneaky when she doesn't have to be. Hopefully some of the cases are offset to the following year. I've never heard of this. Looks like bottom or maybe a 3 row shelf wig. The more expensive and glamorous ones are on higher up, on the top shelf behind the counter. 🤭 Definitely not custom made.

She could never be impartial as a judge is supposed to be. She will always be looking at the fees that she could get out of every situation. Smfh. She's greedy and should be removed from the bench.
