I hope this is a civil dialogue; I hope to hear other's opinions. -Hospitals, universities, and militaries have required various vaccines for some time now, yet the COVID vaccine is somehow different. This stands out to me. -I suppose your response to that would be, " The COVID vaccine hasn't been tested long enough." This is fair argument, but I have to disagree with its validity. -mRNA vaccines have been tested in humans for nearly 10 years. The COVID vaccines were designed and created on technology that had been human tested for nearly a decade. -By the very design of mRNA vaccines, they are unable to alter DNA and the mRNA is denatured and "gone" very quickly. This is why some of the vaccines have to be refrigerated, or else the mRNA would already "be finished." -From years and years of research and experimentation, scientist could be sure that any short term side affects of the vaccine would be less significant than the virus itself. -Of course, there are people that have EXTREMELY rare and fatal side effects to the the COVID vaccine. But these occurrences are not unique to the COVID vaccine. These rare side effects occur in other vaccines. However, the same people using this argument against the COVID vaccine, don't seem to be deterred by the polio vaccine, the HPV vaccine, or the influenza vaccine. -There doesn't seem to be consistency with views of the covid vaccine in relation to other vaccines and well established science. Rather there seems to be a waive of hysteria and emotion that negates the opportunity for further understanding. Sorry for the long comment. Would love to hear others thoughts. Cheers.

ALL vaccines are excused from liability for public health reasons and have been exempt from liability from the start.. If there’s severe injury there are cases where the vaccine maker can be held liable. Out of millions of doses of the covid vaccine there have been relatively few serious side effects, the same number as ANY drug that is prescribed. You take a risk every time you take a prescribed medication. There have been serious side effects from the use of Viagra but I don’t see anyone complaining about that.🙄

Like this Dr I worked the whole time retail in a small grocery store where our business was up 30%. We were busy, I encounter 30-60 people a day in close proximity. Social distancing was impossible to enforce. The affluent don't follow the rules, we know this. I had an Asian lady admit she got off a flight from Singapore, shortly after travel bans were lifted. I had customers that thought curbside was acceptable even though they currently had Covid. Long story short I was probably extremely high risk for catching it. Not one of my ten co workers ever got it, nor any immediate family members. I got vaccinated on 9/11/21 J&J single dose. I held and had no plan but gave in, during an interview process for a new job. Since the vaccination my heart has not been right. I received the vaccine at no cost but being uninsured I will have to budget and save if I want to have this heart problem diagnose and treated. The egk is where I'm told to start and that's 350. Best case scenario I guess I take medication for the rest of my life. My uncle has arrhythmia from drinking, hopefully I don't get his medication it's $700 a month with insurance! And to be quite frank I don't care about the whole "we in this all together". Together being the rich elite, the boomers that sold our future for complacency, that unhealthy that indulge in junk food, and all these entitle f$#_s like you that wanna force medical decesions for me! I got my first Pfzier vaccine a couple of years ago, shortly after it first came out. I didn't want to because I thought it was too soon to roll it out to the public but I was pressured by my family. I got really scary symptoms right after the first shot and feel lucky that I even survived. There is NO WAY I am getting another COVID shot. I wear my mask in high-risk situations, wash my hands regularly, etc. When I tried to report my symptoms to my doctor or tell other people how bad it was they said it was all in my head. It wasn't. I had numbness in my legs, muscle fasciculations all over my body for weeks, and just felt really really off. A month and a half later I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and uterine precancer. I don't know if the cancer was related to the shot but I know the shot really really messed with my body at a very deep level and was terrifying. The adverse reactions are being hushed up by the medical community and politicians. If I had the opportunity to back in time, I would never have gotten that first shot. I don't blame this dr. for not getting the shot. It's too new and the bad and dangerous side-effects are real.

I will speak to my reasoning for not getting the vaccine. My reasoning is that the data is extreemly clear that COVID affects people with comorbdies..OVERWHELMING. The offical number is 95% but considering a margin of error it very well could be 100%. Of those comordbies the vast majority of them are 3 specific ones. 3 that I personally do not have. If you have no comorbidities and are healthy, why are you going to take a vaccine WITH NO LONG TERM STUDIES when you still have a lot of life left in you to live? An elderly person at 85 taking this vaccine in order to get protection and to potentially live a few more years is not the same gamble as a 40 year old with decades to live taking it, not knowing what it may do to his or her body in the future. My wife’s work is trying to force it or be fired by Dec 8 but they make it sound like their employees have a choice. Her friend tried to opt out for the religious opt out but then was terminated after 17 years. They said she didn’t give enough information so she is suppose to have 30 to appeal but they won’t even let her appeal and give more info. They punish us because they dont like common sense being used against them. I laugh at people who tell me I will be on a ventilator because i had covid as an asthmatic and recovered pretty quickly. And i was unknowingly pregnant at the time. 2 weeks of snots and coughs. Then i was fine. They HATE that we arent dying as they claim covid does to people. On Halloween, i went to ER bc the vomitting and nausea caused severe dehydration. The moronic doctor i had thought it was covid symptoms even after i had to pee TWICE in a cup bc each time was a couple mL and they need a pregnancy test and UA. Instead, he made me do a covid test which came back negative, and offered NOTHING for the nausea and vomiting. Stating "you didn't vomit while here, so.." yes, bc not having food or drink on my stomach will cause me to vomit. I trust half these doctors as much as I trust a bailiff to be a doctor. Doctors are as smart as their textbooks tell them to be. They dont study medicine anymore. They just study ways to keep us needing them.

@@Idontcarewhatyouclaim i wouldn't say all doctors, but yes its too textbook now, too corporate, literally i had a really bad infection from a cat scratch, and the doctor goes to give me augmentin, now for some reason augmentin doesn't work on me, it just doesn't, idk why, it should be in my records, but i told him dont give me augmentin it doesn't work ,i told him the other antibiotic my doctor usually prescribes me, but instead he says "no when someone has an infection from a cat scratch this is the antibiotic we prescribe"despite me telling him, yes i understand that except it doesn't work on me so they have to prescribe another one...so anyway, he still gives me the augmentin,i fill it right away hoping that it'll help somewhat, but nope the infection got so bad, i was in the hospital again in less than 48 hours with a fever, and they had to keep me overnight giving me iv antibiotics....never got an apology...

They may feel it is making them safer, but the reality is that it is making their situation worse. Their feelings are not the biggest issue, when they are fighting for their lives. They can hardly come back to life and vote for the other side! It is what this doctor said, if you are old or have some condition that makes you vulnerable then the vaccine is a must take and you will probably have to take it every year for it to be effective. If you are young and healthy it really isn't going to do a lot for you, or the people around you. If you are young and you stop social distancing and mask wearing, because you have the vaccine then it will actually do more harm than good, because the vaccine wont help you catching and transmitting the disease as much as social-distancing.

It came out last year when it was found, pushed to the public and now we have boosters. You can still get Covid regardless if you're vaccinated, spread it to other people and get side effects. To add on to my case, an Israeli study shows that if or when you recover from Covid, your natural immunity is 13x more stronger than that of the vaccine. Meaning your memory cells will remember the next time it comes across Covid and fight it off. I'm not saying to go and attract Covid, no not saying that at all,but if you were to recover from it, you will have natural immunity for a long time, perhaps maybe a lifetime. To prove my case again, a 90 yr old woman who survived the Spanish Flu still has her immunity to this day. Your body works in mysterious but biological ways in order to fight viruses and sicknesses like no other but again depends on your age and also depends on how healthy you are too, your vitamin intakes along with food. The stronger your immune systems are, the stronger your body is to fight the virus. Another great case would be Chicken Pox. How deadly that virus was towards adults vs young children. I had it when I was 6, developed the immunity and have it ran across it since and the vaccine for it was effective, as well as for small pox, mumps, measles, etc.
