Those actually familiar with horses know this BS has been going on for a very long time. When I had a Farm, we had 5 horses, they were all second-hand horses from various places and situations, from an emaciated Percheron stuck in a spot so small it couldn't turn around, to an Arabian/Walker mix being loaded on the trailer headed to slaughter. It took them a few days to acclimate to my place and me, after that they were awesome, rode them all, worked a couple, when I left the farm they all went to functional homes. It's amazing, the Feds squandering millions to hunt horses, just so they can be penned and exterminated... when the option of leaving them be and dealing with their minimal presence is a fraction of the cost.

If y’all need a cheer up story about mustangs I recommend looking into searching “rescuing a family of mustangs”. I don’t remember the woman’s name but it’s a short doc about her following a herd lead by a beautiful stallion, these people took them away and sold them apart. She got back every single horse. It’s a very heart touching story. For those who don’t know, horses have a hierarchy system. Stallions and oldest mares are usually at the top as leader and protector, they know where food and water is. Mares will adopt other foals, and the amount of intelligence they have is more than incredible. Horses can read more than 20 human facial expressions, I can’t even think of that many of my own! Beautiful animals.

I think you're talking about Ginger Kathrens, (sp?) and the stallion was Cloud. She has a phenomenal love for them.... like a 'Jane Goodall' for horses. I watched that whole documentary years ago, It was very well done, very educating. The panic and suffering the BLM causes these horse herds is sickening and sad. I had to stop watching more footage because I couldn't sleep at night. When I think of how loved and cherished my horses are, I wish I could adopt every Mustang out there, but I can't. The family herds are suddenly and frighteningly separated, new foals' hooves torn off in the panic, etc. it's inexcusable x's 10. I don't care how much they 'sugar coat' it, this is the real deal. And all for the love of money. They'll have to stand before God and answer a few questions some day.

Fact if one of these freeze branded horses is found at a kill plant it will be shut down. Likewise any attempt to transport a blm branded horse across the boarder comes with extreme risks. I knew a horse named Bucky. I had ridden him 20 years prior; he belonged to a friend. I met my friend at a ranch 4 years ago and had presumed Bucky was no longer with us. I got to the ranch 1/2 hour before my friend and this beautiful horse ran to the gate from across the field. He hung around and was neighing at me. I thought "Wow. He really looks like Bucky but he looks to young to be him." I shared my carrots with the sweet horse while I waited for my friend. She showed up and stated "Wow! Bucky never hangs out over here because there's no grass. You must have called him over..." I was shocked. I hadn't said a word. He recognized me before I recognized him. He died a few years later and I knew it before my friend told me. I dreamt about him and woke up missing him. My friend called me and told me the news. Horses are the closest reality to the supernatural. They're the lions of North America. 💗

I purchased five mustangs at different times....once you become part of the herd, becoming a "lead mare" establishing body movements as would any horse....they are wonderful animals, very devoted.... I had strangles run through my barn...each horse had all shots, none died, lancing abscess, except one....strangles infection travelled through the body of my service horse rupturing in the middle of hoof took over a year to repair that hoof .... almost lost my stallion.... all pulled through. Strangles is deadly, but with proper care, a lot of patience and hope, strangles can be controlled..... Mustang's in Nevada are what made the landscape beautiful....now the landscape is filled with houses, apartment's...so many people who think they talk the talk of mustang, but they know nothing about them .... Are they easy to break I'm always asked.... That would depend on you and understanding each horse is an individual....

Actually wild horses are the most protected large animal in America. Facts to prove this it is a felony to chase these horses. Their are 5 registered contractors allowed to bid on the contracts and they all had to have no less than 1 year experience to even apply for a contract. I know most of them personally with the exception of sun-j who is a former blm employee from the horse program. The facts elude you congrats you don't know what your talking about. If you get caught chasing mustangs your going to prison, unless of course it is decided by the government that they need to be managed they can't be touched. Or seen running away from you. Basically if your out driving down a dirt road and they are seen running in front of you you could be guilty of a felony so don't speed up to get a better look, in fact blm suggests you stop completely and wait. @@toniakreis1606 furthermore to protect this animal only to watch them starve to death is absurd, maybe you don't live in the west but surely you have heard that we are faced with drought conditions. What this means for the desert land where most of these horses live is no rain, no water no life source. No grass grows when no rain falls and the grass that does grow in the spring is dead or dying already from lack of water this leaves the land baren and blowing dust and dirt. The horses won't survive its a guarantee I promise. But what do you know about how horses suffer trying to survive on sage brush, probably one of the reasons the blm is struggling to keep them alive is cause at some point their condition is irreversible. Check the daily data logs from pancake complex gather I'm guessing but I'm pretty sure the majority of horses that died from that gather were put down cause their condition was too poor and likely to not improve. In commonsense terms they had already starved to death the damages caused from the ulcers in their stomach was beyond repair. This happens when horses can't find decent forage their stomach responds with an acid indigestion that eats them alive from the inside. So yes one colt had a broken leg the pilot did his best to maneuver around him once he noticed but things like this happen occasionally what is uncommon until people like you showed up with all your ideas and no actually knowledge. Is the skin and bones suffering horses who likely have destroyed their insides with ulcers from acid eating their insides when they can't find the feed that doesn't exist anymore.

Well, the wild horses of Nevada were released here by humans a few hundred years ago. However, they are a symbol of Nevada. My grandmother was born in Las Vegas in 1948, before it became a tourist destination. She has wonderful stories about the wild horses that would run free near the houses provided by Union Pacific railroad for workers and their families, where her father worked. The reason they kill these horses is because the ranchers want more grazing land for their cattle.

It's the freemason cattlemen. Did you know they put a price on every buffalo's head so we would have to buy their beef cows once the buffalo were extinct. They also used cannons to salt California with gold just to get people to the other side of the country. That's why gold mining is dead in California while silver mines in Nevada are still operating. Silver was real but they had no idea it was there, gold peppering and California was a sham. 49ers were the idiots who ran across a Continent because masons told them there was gold. So California is made up of idiotic dupes. This whole world is run by the masons and they run it like 5 year olds raised by the village idiot. If they can't make money off it they kill it, like the horses or the "wildfire" to burn the poor off the real estate they want in Paradise Ca. . But no matter how much they try to make the ultimate cities with the perfect lifestyles it will still be shit, even at the top. Why? Because they are SHIT and they scurry around in the dark making plans to screw us out of whatever they want, but it is built on shit, by people that are shit and teach their kids to be shit and talk shit and treat friends like shit along with everything else. But they got the money and the toys and all that shit to keep them from seeing that it's all shit, down to THE CORE. The masons brick is a turd, his mortar is diarrhea and everything he creates is shit. It would all work if they used something other than shit. Like goodness, trust, honesty, friendship, integrity, you know, all the words we don't have any use for anymore. But they aren't words they're a way to be. A WAY TO BE. A WAY OF BEING. A HUMAN BEING. The opposite of a "FREE"MASON who is shackled to the BEAST and sold the one and only thing we truly have in life and death, a soul.

What did you expect ? B.L.M. / Bureau of Land Management Department Head had stated many times over the years that the , " Best possible use for these horses is for the U.S., to reopen slaughter facilities just for the disposal of these horses " . The people " in charge " want rid of them , none in the wild and none in adoption . In the wild these horses are called ' Mustangs ' in private hands the Government calls them ' feral horses ' , there's a push and has been for decades even in Australia and New Zealand as well as the U.S., to eradicate ' feral species ' . For the Australians it's rabbits , for New Zealand it's goats and cows , for the U.S., it's these horses grazing Government Lands that the Government gets paid for cattle grazing rights . Various Senators even back in the 1960's - 1970's - 1980's have gotten Laws passed to protect these horses yet B.L.M., does it does to eliminate them , they adopt out very few of them . Most of these ' rounded up ' horses will live their entire lives in B.L.M., holding facilities and some of them were born in these yards .

Contact your reps in government and the BLM! Tell everyone you know. I've been trying to raise awareness but hardly anyone seems to care or pay attention for long. They're being rounded up so that cattle ranchers can keep destroying our lands. And wild horses are NOT starving out there, that's another lie being told so that they can keep removing them from our lands. When herds are broken up, that hurts the herd itself because it's a specific hierarchy. And helicopters don't need to be used. That's long been a cruel thing that has taken the lives of countless horses. These are OUR wild horses! Oh and be sure to remind people that WE pay for this cruelty with our tax money! These roundups have accelerated under the leadership of Deb Haaland, head of the Dept of the Interior, so definitely contact her as well! Our horses need your voice!

When I was 18 i adopted 2 of these wild mustangs they rounded up. It was so sad. They were beautiful horses but wild. I took them back up to Sonora in California and put them in the wild pasture. They were rounded up I’m the Sierra Nevada so they weren’t far from where the came from. I was able to spend hours with one of them one on one every day. Eventually got a harness as lead on her and we walked in the mountains and I picked blackberries for her. She enjoyed them very much. When it was hot o took her to a creek and she loved to tread in it. The other horse spooked to much and I know it was bc of The Who bought her. He was so stupid. He’s get a white shirt and fly it around her and wonder why she feared up and ran. I left there and found my horse a good home on acres of land she can just graze and be at peace. O wish they quit rounding up horses bc they really are separating families.I’m just an animal lover and would buy and set free every wild animal that’s put in captivity. And that includes the live lobster on the store of it wouldn’t be caught again. Lol.

Basically the American mass production meat industry (pigs, cattle) is paying the BLM to round up as many horses as they can, so the mass production farms get more space to expand. Equestrians have these "events/challenges" of adopting a mustang and taming it in two months for a price. The general rule of adopting is that you have to own the horse for a year before you can sell it forward. The horses adopted this way usually get sold to the meat industry.
