I’m a CRT, same profesional that test your lungs with the penologist when testing the oxygen in can. The test (PFT) only mesure what your lungs can do. But the oxygen do help you in the recovery after running to ease the fatigue or pre use of it give you a better performance, and slow down the need for air after running. You do investigate it, but the doctor don’t give you this explanation. Great video anyways! ❤

From someone who doesn't work in the medical field, that test was on a similar scale to the Mythbusters "Can you slip on a banana peel? - Myth Busted" test.

The device to improve lung capacity is an incentive spirometer, but it's only for people that already have a diminished capacity or are at risk for a diminishing capacity. On a person with healthy lungs it won't help.
