Allie!!! The really cool thing about this line is that an occupational therapist (OT) helped design the packaging to make it more easily accessible for people to open who have physical disabilities! Selena did this as she struggles sometimes due to her lupus. I just think it’s so neat (I’m an OT as well) and I’m also an aromatherapy girlie so I am all about it. Thanks for your thoughts!

Yes! As a disabled person, I find myself using mostly rare beauty products bc of the ease of opening and use. You can tell the difference for sure. It also seems like the formulas are more gentle as well which is nice.

I have Cyclic vomiting syndrome ( a neurological condition that causes really severe vomiting episodes along with neurological symptoms) so i got the aromatherapy pen for when im nauseous but i dont want to take my nausea medicine because of the side affects, and ive really been enjoying it! I just put a little behind each ear and under my chin and it really does help🙌

Purchased the hand cream , tried it on hubby, using the closed top of the bottle to massage his arthritic hands, he enjoyed it thoroughly, and even liked the smell. Not too strong

Honestly I’m not surprised she did a body line because with Lupus we (I have Lupus as well) often are constantly trying to destress our bodies, we have issues with our hands and our bodies in general so I think these selection of body care products make sense. Im excited to try it out for myself assuming I can get my hands on it.

The aromatherapy gel and the hand lotion seem really innovative to me. As a disabled person, I personally love the brand and it’s usability! If I had to guess, I bet the fragrance is meant to be gentle or non-irritating since the whole brand is disability/illness friendly. But I agree, a non scented option could be great to take that aspect further. Great review!

I was so curious about this when I saw it launch and think I’m going to pass for now based on the scent, but I’d definitely get some items if more scents come out…like a good vanilla or fragrance free like you said. The hand cream and body lotion are the two items I’m most interested in. I also love the packaging and how cohesive the whole line is!! I’d love for them to come out with a body butter or oil that is really moisturizing, but not greasy.

You mentioned the packaging it’s designed that way because it has ergonomic design to make it easy on the joints when you are opening it. She designed it that way because she has a form of lupus that attacks the nervous system and in some cases it can cause chronic arthritic pain. My sister in law has lupus and struggles finding things that are gentle on her joints so for that reason alone I support this line.

I avoid fragrance wherever possible and especially if it lingers, it will only clash with anything else going on. 3) On the scent train of thought, though, I appreciate the obvious thought that went behind this one. I have some knowledge of essential oils, and she obviously worked hard with oils and scents that would contribute to feelings of COMFORT and holistic health. Which is her whole vibe for her brand. I bought the body lotion because I like to keep one with fragrance on hand when I want to smell fresh without needing a full perfume. I haven’t found it to be too overpowering wearing it throughout the day so far. That said, I totally agree that having a fragrance free option would be amazing. I would use that all the time because the formula is great. I don’t get that weird feeling when I get dressed.

I get bad headaches and I bought this pen, and I love it, seems to help if I put it on my temples right at the onset of a headache, I've always tried to us peppermint oil on my temples when staying with a headache, this from rare beauty seems to work so much better, and easier to have in my purse I don't have to worry about oil spilling.

I feel like this line was intended as more of an aromatherapy experience vs. a body care line. Not that the products themselves are not good, but it feels like they developed different vehicles in order to deliver the scent. It gives people options as far as how they want to wear the scent. Also... I love your new editing style! When you were giving your summary of the products at the end and had cut backs in the video to when you were trying the products, it was a small thing but made it really enjoyable to watch. I appreciate quality over quantity so can't wait to see more!

I love this format, I love the color system, brilliant! Im also very proud of you for posting for 3 days a week for so long, but also proud you are cutting back to bring a different vibe to your channel! The one thing that concerned me with this line is the packaging. I found it to look very bulky and would be very difficult to get product out especially if you have arthritis. Like her other products, she was mindful of that, having Lupus. If anyone has tried this line, and you have a condition that makes it hard to open or squeeze products. Did you find this difficult to use? I do want that candle and I think I would actually really enjoy the gel, reading it helps with nausea. I got the tiniest little baby sample of the body lotion and i tried it last night and i like it and i like the scent, but i have eczema so i just need more. My skin doesnt feel super dry or anything, but it just didnt feel as nice as my normal Trader Joes and Kikiz Cosmeticz body butters.

Allie, fyi… putting essential oils behind the ears is one of the best places for the oils to sink in quickly and do some good before evaporating away :) due to the location but also the warmth and thin skin there. The oils are in a gel form so proabbaly wouldn’t just evaporate away in this particular format, but I just wanted to let you know that wrist and behind the ears are strategic placements for getting the best absorption and results from essential oil use.
