I just wanted to say real quick your advice to buy new discharge farmers to level and sell was amazing. I've been making huge profits buying 31 special atk pikachus and getting them to lvl 100. Price has gone up a little recently but I managed to grab a few 1x31 pika's for around 5-6k each and they all easily sold for 40k+

the dex in game has been updated with lure encounters, you can even check kingdra yourself, it says all of the locations that you can encounter it with lures. nice video, great info :-)

I actually use expert lures for payday coz they always give 56 level pokemons which give 560 pokecoins every Pokemon and expert lure's price gets covered up soon and you get more money with payday. And pretty pretty sure that pickup also gives you some rare items like comet shard and pearl chain which worth 12k and 10k respectively (i may be wrong with my statement) in my opinion lures are worth it. Maybe you can make a video about with lures pay day and without payday money comparison, would love to see that

I have been encountering a lot of double battles in Mistralton Cave in Unova when i was hunting axew's. I have noticed a slight increase in their appearance since they are a rare encounter. I need to do some more testing but lures so far are very interesting.

If you were to take squirtle for example, how much would it cost to breed as many squirtle that you saw? what would the price comparison be between the breeding method and the lure method?

One obvious question I expected you to address: can you use lures with repels to guarantee lure-exclusive Pokemon if they're higher-leveled than the other possible encounters?

You cannot, if you pop a lure and then try to repel, it will just stop consuming ur lure steps until ur repel wears off

well i just checked and shiny starters are already insanely priced, but since now you can only really get them from lures now i kinda think they will be actually ridiculously more expensive, thought id try to flip some but i think someone else beat me to it lol

Small testing, I don't think it makes it worth farming mons like starters with such low encounter chances. If you really want those mons for a specific reason yeah sure.

I'll do a loot from 1 hour to check profit sometime soon, but i think base prizes on this pokemon could raise a bit and it could be great, but it rly just depends.

No you can encounter/catch starters just with the cheap lures tht are around 600-1500 pokeyen from the pokemarts, they only cost around 7-15k per hour to run for a full hour as shown in this video.

Because certain pokemon (starters, rotom, & ?) will only be encounterable with the lures is the only reason. Pretty dumb change all around imo.

I thought about using illuminate as its a comparison to sticky hold if u just care about encounters but i ended up going without because it wasnt realistic and the i feel like the video wasnt about comparing fishing VS single encounters but rather Single without lure VS with lure Vs premium lure, etc. Hope this reasoning is sound enough.

Did you know that in Kanto at Viridian forest Bulbasaur can be caught but only with a lure. In the anime Ash gets his Bulbasaur there also but not with a lure.
