Hi Goran, Thank for the video. I really love this shoe and agree in everything you say. I have just put 800 km in my shoe. Did a 43 k mountainrace in it a few weeks ago and the shoe performed very well. I guess I could run at least 2-300 more kilometers on it before buing a new one. And that pring us back to the pricing. I also run in Hoka Speedgoat and vj maxx (not so much anymore) but here is my experience on thhese shoes compared to the Nnormal Kjerag when it comes to durability. Hoka Speedgoat lasts around 5-600 km for me. Pricing 2000 NOK. VJ maxx last around 4-500 kilometers. VJ naxx has aprox the same price at the speedgoat. If i double the distance for the Kjerag it will be a good price for the Kjeragg. PS: alos had a few runs in the Tomir. This has the lugs you are asking for and I will use it for the extremely wet and muddy days but this shoe cant compare with the Kjerag regarding how fun it is to run with. Finally: Thanks for all the nice videos you share. Cheers Jostein

You’re so lucky to have all those beautiful trails to run, where I live it’s a concrete jungle and the roads are always busy with cars, pollution, noise, construction everywhere, there’s like barely any long trails so you need to go back and forth like 50 times to reach good mileage.

It's a great shoe that just gets out of the way! I think the toe-box is pretty standard - they advertise it as "wide", but that must be compared to super-narrow Salomons! I think they've got many things just right - though the gusseted tongue/midfoot lock-down is a bit tight and restrictive. I wish I could chose this more myself! Ideally, I'd like a biiiit more protection in the forefoot, and maybe a bit less in the heel. But then I'm used to zero-drop trail shoes. Thanks for a good review!

I dont like this trend of lots of cushioning. I thought that, at least in trail running, it would be possible to get a holf of shoes that connects you to the ground. I have worked for many many years to be able to run without cushioning and my all time favorite shoe is Adidas Takumi Sen 3. I hear that Mizuno has a similar shoe called Emperor, but this has 10 mm drop instead of 6. Does anyone have advice on a shoe that works in the same way as Takumi Sen 3 or any good barefoot style running shoes?

Hey! One tip is to not to focus on how long you have to keep going for, instead focus on the present and ask yourself if you are able to handle the discomfort right now then split it in to shorter goals “okay I can keep going to that corner 100m from here” and then set a new short goal to keep yourself from getting discouraged from how long you have to go.

It is so interesting to see hear different opinions about this shoe from US runners and European runners. It feels like the US runners trend to huge stack midsole shoes as European runners like a lower stack midsole shoe for trails. Personally I don't think trail shoes need a large stack midsole as the terrain you are on is already soft compared to roads. It will be interesting to see how well the shoe holds up now that it is in consumer production. Killian showed off the prototype that had 1000k on them, but when it is a one off built shoe just for him, it can have more time spent building the shoe compared to the larger production for consumers.
@goranwinblad

Yeah it for sure is I was a bit surprised when I so some US reviewers saying it was a shoe with very minimal midsole, for running on the most technical trails here in Norway I’m used to shoes with way more minimal midsole.
