Thanks Froyle! One thing I was impressed by was how much paint actually stayed on the plate, and didn't remove onto the stencil, for the ghost prints. Also, I am thinking the "Gleaming glitters" ( my new name for them, lol) would probably work better on black paper or dark backgrounds... just a guess & maybe something to try🥰

I love using Meeden paints on my gelli plate! I find that the acrylics have more of a satin sheen when dried. I have mounted some on wooden cradle board and they look wonderful! I recommend Meeden paints for gelli printing!

Really, it just shows me how good golden paints are that U normally use (you do, right?!) as your art is so deep and ri'hley coloured, the ae paints seemed more washed out, a great look in and off itself , but next to your previous work, the paints (for gel plate) fall a bit short I thought? -thanks for doing the video, really helps navigate the HUGE art supply paint business!

Since Meeden uses "crosses" and not Roman numerals for their lightfastness rating, it hasn't gone through the ASTM testing, so they're basically just making it up. Lightfastness would definitely be a concern as you mentioned.

I wonder if sealing with UV-resistant varnish (which I generally do) helps with lightfastness.

Bought the Meeden set immediately after watching your video. The colors are fantastic especially the metallics. however, they dry very quickly which is good for us antsy types but I've had a lot of problems with tissue paper sticking to the gelli plate and leaving a lot of paint behind. Did you find this and if so do you have a solution?

No I haven't had that trouble, are you using ordinary tissue? or Wet strength tissue? Cheers
