the game is kind of barebones though. It's basically button spam and things die, no thought process put into combat imo like the animations are cool but it's just all flash no challenge. The TV puzzles are also kind of an annoyance aswell.

Yeah Anby and Soldier 11 looks very similar right down to their choice of weapon. If I have to guess they're either twins or clones engineered for war.

Keep in mind Koleda and Ben have a special double team mechanic where they will gain stronger versions of their attacks if they are in the same party due to performing double team attacks.

I'd actually like to see more characters do that kind of combo attacks. Then again, I remember such combos from good old Chrono Trigger, where building your team often meant calculating for unity attacks and how absolutely DEVASTATING they can be.

Seeing as how honkai star rail was supposed to be on PS4 & 5 only for them to make it a PS5 exclusively months later. Yeah, I don’t think we’ll be getting a PS4 release. But hey! Here’s to hoping. ✌️

@@jjuruk420 The reason it is exclusive for PS5 is because Sony made it a policy where the game NEEDS to be compatible with PS5, I do not know about programming but I assume they would have to do it separately to actually make it work for PS4 as well.

....I definitely don't need to get into another HYV game, especially if the Gacha has your "Artifacts/Relics" in it as well or whatever like in HI3rd, but boy if I played it (Which unless it's coming to console I doubt it, Potato PC) Corin would be one of the characters I'd invest into heavily, she's just absolutely adorable......And uses a chainsaw thing which is hilarious.

Consider Anby has a unknown past that not even she remembers, it is most likely intentional as a possible hint to her secret origins. There are theories about Anby maybe a run away super soldier candidate with Soldier being the one who did not manage to escape and thus the scientist behind the program have her memories wiped about Anby so Soldier can become another Soldier in the Super Soldier program while Anby did escape but during the escape she may have lost her memories.

With this game I am just going default to the starting characters and if lucky then focus on Grace as my main. The other characters are interesting but I invest more into gameplay of a character rather than husbando/waifu collecting. I am interested in the Wild West faction Billy's origin story teased at and may consider using the saved up Free gems and films for that faction if it has interesting waifus. If not then I'll just continue saving until something interests me both in design and gameplay.

I do get him If you are someone who doesn't like reading or not very into reading an immense amount of dialogues, honkai can be daunting. Which is where English voice acting comes to place. Some players switch to eng vo for the immersion or when they do not want to read (just listen to characters talking) ... Though there are some eng vo which is hard to listen to... There are a lot of good ones out there as well. Acting is difficult to learn :( I only understood basic mandarin language, but sometimes I switch to Cn vo cause I'm too lazy to read an immense dialogues in the honkai story haahahha The translation in honkai Impact 3rd are not that great compared to genshin. xd there are a few grammar errors as well

I think it is just preference when it comes to how they prefer dungeon crawling. The TV dungeon design is just a rather old school dungeon crawler design that is just made to be simple to go through. Though there are more people these days that prefer dungeon crawling to involve more direct control of their characters rather than simple map square maze movement. I honestly find this design a better option than just running around a bunch of empty rooms.
