There are some bonus mechanics you might have missed for Ellen and Nico! If Ellen has double of her required energy you can tap the skill twice to unleash a bonus attack, and when using her special charged dash attack, when you see a flash you can switch out and she’ll still do her attack off screen and you’ll get the stacks + make sure to hold her attack after the special dash, it gives 3 more stacks! For Nico if you want to do the special sitting shot, you need to do a full rotation on the joystick while pressing the skill, and if you release it immediately she actually falls down. It’s fun how many small optimizations there are.

For Nicole to sit on her box, do a 360 with the analog stick. If you don't hold the skill attacks, she will fall off her box

21:06 important thing to know about Ellen, HOLD DASH to enter her 'dash state' and then hold the attack button. When you release that attack will fill up her meter under her name that will add bonuses to her next attack. You can also fill the meter when you hit her EX but it doesn't fill up nearly as much as the dash attack..........I was using her for WEEKS before I realized that was a thing she could do.

Quick tip about ellen,when in sprint/stalker mode if u hold atk while in that mode it gives u the ice basic atk stacks below the hp bar basically hold charged atk while in shark sprint mode,she goes scissors

This game is definitely my favorite now after the burnout from Genshin, the combat is so addictive and engaging, the daily is quick and easy, music is a banger, the animation is so damn smooth, npc doesn't look like a copy paste, and the best of all, they have skip button =] Like omg it's just perfect for me

Highly agree with you here... I started playing genshin at launch and finally stopped playing 2 patches after sumeru released. The burnout is insane and just the yapping sessions mid-story is honestly pretty tiring especially when you're getting like 30 min dialogue for side fkin characters.

23:45 twist the d-pad or joystick controller in a 360 motion and either let go of the special attack button after or during the 360 joystick twist to do either the sitting attack or the sitting and falling off of the bag attack. It’s a great Nicole secret combo to learn since the sitting attack launches quicker and the falling off attack launches the black hole upward.

For days of playing Ellen, I realized that her gameplay is the same as Ayaka, you dash on Ayaka (sprint on Ellen but you need to hold attack on dash attack to obtain enough stacks for one attack sequence to have ice infusion) every now and then to obtain constant ice infusion. Both are also fast while sprinting which is also neat. Man I love ice girls

The fact that you got Lycaon in less than 300 pulls is astronomically lucky! He’s by far the best stun agent in the game since he’s an ice attribute (they’re stupidly broken for the time being) and he can stun every enemy quite quickly! When he’s paired up Corrin and Soukaku (or Ellen/Rina), that’s a team that can melt through everything! Also I would highly recommend trying out the character tutorials for yourself. You might learn a bit about what the characters can do during combat that you might’ve not known about

So the main difference imho...is that the story is very interactive, what you choose, you say, and it's a small little difference, but it makes you engaged in the story. Also, the comic book style allows for interesting and varied expressions, allowing them to be stuck to just what the engine is capable of with the 3D models. It's also flashy and keeps you engaged. I actually am not skipping the story. Also, the MC is not a WIMP like the Traveler: they aren't a unit/agent, so they can BE COOL and NOT steal the thunder or have the thunder stolen from them by OTHER agents, competing against each other. They are similar to the "Captain" but better from HI3. The characters having the W-Engines means their weapon and moveset can be whatever the devs want, it's not limited to the moveset of weapons like in Genshin. It also has a varied combat system with skill expression and timings, but also thoughtfulness of who is in your team. It has no need for a healer slot, the Stun characters kind of fill that role to proc chain attacks to refill assists.
