The Sweetened Condensed Milk hack is actually from a 1970s recipe created by a New York City chef for a famous restaurant: 1.) Place one can of Sweetened Condensed Milk in a pressure cooker with water that covers the can over two inches and cook on low pressure for three hours (you must use an original pressure cooker; not an Instant Pot). 2.) Let the can cool down and carefully open it (put a towel over the can top and can opener to avoid being burned. The cooked Sweetened Condensed Milk needs to be warm enough to mix in and melt one cup of miniature marshmallows. 3.) Mix in one-half cup of toasted pecans. 4.) Serve over vanilla ice cream.

With the condensed milk caramel, you forgot to put it in your mixer afterward. It was in the video you showed. Not sure how long you need to mix it but appears to be in a stand mixer with whisk attachment. I have not tried this bc I have some dental work which is not caramel friendly but during the holidays when I do need to make caramel I do make it from scratch. It is super simple so long as you do not look away bc the second you do it will burn. Heck, if I really needed caramel that bad I would honestly just buy it in the supermarket rather than go through all that trouble bc I am quite certain it does not taste like homeade. PS, next time you are anywhere that sells them you need to try real Dippin Dots. Who would think little bits of ice cream could be so good but they really are delicious.
