In this video, I compiled a list of some of the funniest and weirdest 1.17 / 1.16 Minecraft tips and tricks / life hacks to see if they actually work in the game... Most of them didn't, but it was pretty fun testing them out. These fake Minecraft tips and tricks definitely reminded me of all the fake Minecraft speedruns I have reacted to in the past, and the ones that actually WORKED reminded me of the Minecraft handbooks...

The trick to maim the pillager can actually be useful, because since pillagers have a bigger scare radius than zombies, you can create more efficient iron farms with the same amount of villagers, without the pillager being able to shoot them.

The first trick works in bedrock I’ve done it before and it’s also important that you look somewhat upwards when doing it because if you look straight forward or down you fall. So maybe that’s why it didn’t work on Java

The way to get a Nether Portal in Survival works on Bedrock Edition

If you search for mc tips on bedrock, please use bedrock edition. How to find out, that something is on bedrock: 1. Enchantments. At 3:25 Someone holds his sword, under the name you can see it's enchantments, that only works on bedrock. 2. Inventory. Not much to say. 3. Chat and Position and Paperdoll. They appear in the top left corner. 4. Theres no cross-hair. 5. Connected block textures are nonexistent. Theres no current texturepack that allows connected block textures to work on bedrock

I have a shulker box full of portal blocks in my survival realm on bedrock edition. One: The farm only works on bedrock. Two: The farm only works when there is some lag on the server, and my realm used to be super laggy.

Tamed pillager are great for iron golem farms due to the fact that pillagers have a bigger scare range than zombies also they cant hurt the villagers

*the best tip I have for You is to make a random seed pause look at the seed copy it go to main menu make a new world In creative with that seed & search for milestones in completion & rout Your plan to finish in the survival version* . *Let me know if it works or if it's cheating*

The guy who claimed you can get a nether portal block wasn't lying. I play Bedrock Edition. You need to be in survival and have a silk touch pickaxe to do it. Only Windows 10 Edition though.

So for the first "hack" it actually does work, I discovered it by accident but I used a netherack trail kinda, and floated along the bottom of it, but you have to look up above the horizon, or else you fall.

Also the grass trick for diamonds while that is fake there are some similar tricks with it that are true, basically having to do with how the game generates the world, Ik there was one with clay in a specific pattern would mean diamonds underneath due to generation but can’t remember what the pattern was
