I LOVE my spin pins!! They’re sooo much more gentle on my hair than Bobbi pins and I can wear a bun with no hairband and twist in a couple spin pins and it stays all day! It also doesn’t give me headaches to wear my hair up bc there’s no hair band!
@undercovercat98654 жыл бұрын
Spin pins are great ^^ They hold really well. They are the only way I can do a cinnabun in my hair. Another fun, strange hair accessory is the invisibobble hairpin. You can do hair roses with it without being scared of bobby pins squishing your fragile ends.

8:53 spin pins are a lot better than bobby pins especially if you have a lot of hair I have to use multiple packs of them though because one pack of spin pins is not enough.

Well cold water just doesn’t open the cuticle as much as hot water right? Otherwise why does hair dye stay in your hair when rinsing with cold water rather than hot water? I’m just confused. Cuz you said cold water doesn’t close the cuticle, but doesn’t it close it a little bit? Just not all the way?

I'm wondering where you get your information about hair care. Where is the scientific proof. I can't find proper researchpapers about haircare. And I was especially curious about the vasiline one. Why is it bad/doesn't work for your lashes?
@SarahIngleOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Have you watched the hair science video? We go over a ton of academic and medical journals and there are a bunch listed out in the description of that one. It’s really hard to find scientific paper on hair online without doing a lot of digging people there are so many tabloid-type magazines and clickbait articles clogging up google. Here’s a link to the hair science video in case you wanna see some of the research: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqm4aJd4iaqAipo

Oh and the Vaseline one. I’d just be careful of anything with petroleum jelly - it has known carcinogens in it and depending on the grade of petroleum, you don’t actually know if they’ve removed all the toxic chemicals from it. It’s literally made of leftover gunk from oil rigs. Vaseline supposedly gets all the toxic stuff out, but other brands might not, and there’s no nutritional value to your skin or hair from it - especially if you compare it to oils like jojoba oil - even if it feels nice on the lips, for instance.
@gwen5024 жыл бұрын
@@SarahIngleOfficial Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the fact that you do your research that well😊 and that you also think that it's important that we have to rely on scientific evidence. That's the kind of influencer that we need in the society♥️

@SarahIngleOfficial4 жыл бұрын
The main issue with Vaseline is that it’s petroleum jelly, which is made of the leftover gunk from oil rigs. If it’s not high enough grade, it can be toxic and is carcinogenic.
