The enamel chamber pots were used before people had bathrooms in the house. They would sell in the booth pretty easy. Some people like the rusted, crusty, and holes in them. Score on the Pyrex. Hope you both had a wonderful Christmas as well as a prosperous new year.😊

My local thrift shop puts the eBay price on some high-end items. The only problem is they put the ask-for price, not the sold price. This means some items are very overpriced. Thanks for sharing.

I believe the smoky glass vase-like thing is a butt jar (cigarettes). Mid-century-modern. I have a very similar one from my aunt. It has a ceramic stopper on top. I would've still bought the cat bookends, but that's only because I'd sand and paint the chipped ears to make them look more deliberate. However, you guys don't have time for those kinds of repairs, so leaving them behind was the best decision. On the other hand, the Pyrex fridgies were a great pickup.

I am a Cosmetology Instructor by trade been doing hair for 44 years and how to tell if it is human hair?? Get a lighter and burn it, if it melts it is not human hair. Human hair burnt also smells to high heaven. So synthetic will melt. That is how you tell. The length of hair matters when buying a manikin, and if they hair is human and remy which means the cuticle layer of the hair is going in the same direction. So next time bring the lighter and burn the hair. HAHAHAH Have a blessed day!!!!
