I Think I Like Yamaha Drums

About a year or 2 ago I bought some yamaha stage custom drums from a friend just for gigging and I've slowly grown really fond of them.

You somehow popped up in my algorithm and I really dig the video. Love the set up! Stage Customs are fantastic drums. I've been using a 14x8 Ludwig as my main snare for close to a decade now. The tuning range is unbelievable and it sounds great with my vintage 71 butcher block Rogers kit. The jam at the end was phenomenal.

I think I, lowkey, fell in love with yamaha while making this video. I never really appreciated how versatile they were until I strated playing backline kits in AC alot. All of a sudden, a lightbulb went off and now I think i'm hooked! I just bought another Yamaha kit too 😉

Many moons ago I got to play on a Birch Absolute kit for like a week or two sheesh man are they phenomenal drums Yamaha drums sound great because the tone is always huge . Th Oak customs also hit different too

My church has a Birch Absolute, which I dig a lot even with old heads on them. Now, the Oak Jawnz...They are PHENOMENAL! If I'm lucky, I get to play those as backline somewhere again, but I really want one for myself!
