Snapped my CV 2 weeks ago in Balanced Rock... I was on oem stuff. With the 3in lift on mine i wanted to take a little caution with angle on them... After some reading i put on SKF Long travel CV's and an ICON diff drop. Letcha know how this works for me as im on the verge on doing the solid aswell.

I love my solid axle 4runner it is great. the best part is you can get a little bit of a streach from the swap wich just gives more tire clearance and they can be supper strong.

TAKE THE BIG TIRES OFF NO PROBLEM 33s as big as you want to go with IFS Or put MEVOTECH EXTREME ANGLE CVS in it thats what I run they will angle up to 47 degrees of angle ARB LOCKERS SUCK Put a GRIZZLY YUKON in it
