There is 4 campaign for each of the 2 factions available, dating from 1890 to 1930, unlockable only after the previous one is beaten. It can be challenging to properly manage the finance of the campaign as in later start dates (1930 specifically) it is just too tempting to build the best battleship you can and end up going bankrupt because you are fielding too few ships and got blockaded.

I’ve always went for several cruiser designs..One type strictly for intercepting and wrecking convoys and the other as a brawler ship of the line. It’s super fun to try to create a shop that can tackle every scenario but I’ve found specializing classes really helps too.

That ship you built, I can only imagine that it would shed about half its weight with its first salvo, considering how many artillery shells it would launch. Maybe you should weld a couple of destroyer hulls to it as outriggers, to keep it from tipping over when launching a broadside?

ItsFunneh, ultimate admiral is basically a PC version of an old PlayStation game called war ship gunner with some nice upgrades made by Konomi obviously on the PlayStation version it wasn’t automated ships. You actually had to play the ship you designed, it did have an automated air defense mode that you could activate.

Going to have to look more at the modules on your ship, Raptor. Far right isn't always best, at least not for the rudder. Also you missed out on shaving off like 15% of your armor weight and 50% on it's quality by not changing Krupp I to Krupp IV. Its always important to get the best armor tech on the ship as it makes the armor lighter while being more effective. And if the armor is lighter and you can get the same effect from 12 inches of it instead of 17 inches that frees up tonnage for more freedom. (course I'm sure you'd probably of looked over everything a bit more if you weren't so excited to actualyl play a bit)

Very true..I’ve seen a lot of people maneuvering at flank speeds but it drops you accuracy a lot..I’ll engage at like half to full speeds and only turn at about 50% rudder angle and it keeps accuracy higher.

Since you asked... I tend to like battling it out long range so my build usually have big triples, heavy shells, High TNT, fastest loading, all or nothing armor with any extra weight on deck, turret, and tower armor (for plunging fire) and having good radar/tower. I tend not to worry so much about speed or range. If I was close range, I would go small and fast with a lot of torpedos. Two or three big torps can take down a battleship. Oh and am from Canada.

If knives do bleed damage to flesh overtime... Ships and tanks should take overheating or leaking damage if the engines got shot at?

Damage to engines is modeled yea, so if you take some shells to your power plant it cuts your speed down..Sometimes the crew can repair it and you can regain some speed back but a lot of times you need to return to port and put the ship in dry dock to repair, which can take months so that ship will be out of the fight for several turns seeing every turn is a month in game time in campaign.

this is great game with great staff a crash wiped my computer could not find the receipt they emailed me , before knew it had a new game. I had this early early on changes as hits steam they lock battles that get harder . I just started playing the campign seems be pretty great it really shines on design of ships .
