Hey dear frugal folks! Did u know that you can start making wine when get excess of grape or hard cyder from apples? Byung the wine yeast is helpful to start it up but then can keep it as a starter forever. Adding free sugar will make it stronger.

Mummm...im envisioning a quick bread dumpling or dough covered apple Betty type thing. Core and dice your apples, optionally peel, then coat in a mix of cornstarch, cinnamon sugar, and apple pie spices. Mix your dough, pour your apples into a well greased baking pan optionally added and mixing in a little extra cornstarch, top with butter or dumplings, and bake in a 350 degree oven until the dough is cooked. Optionally tent in foil or the bigger turkey roaster to cook the apples more without over browning the dough. The cornstarch reduces your need for sugar and thickens the juice from riper and also jucier apples. This also tastes good if the apples remain firmer or less cooked down.

You should can up some apple sauce and apple pie filling or dehydrate apples to use for pie filling and I dehydrate all kinds of vegetables to mix and have it for soup when I don't have fresh

My little Chihuahua loves chicken. It’s about the only thing she will eat. I roast inexpensive leg quarters then debone them and make little packets for her. I freeze them and then one minute in the microwave thaws and reheats them. I could feed her for months on that chicken.

We once had a little dog(poodle mix). We got her from an elderly relative who had a stroke and died. She would not eat because she missed her mom. I worked in a restaurant and brought home packets of prime rib scraps. That was all she would eat for a couple months. Then she started eating dog food again.
