I normally don’t. I feel like it tampers with the action of the lure. But I do have a few with inline hooks that I’ll use from time to time

My old stomping grounds. I grew up on Colony Cove. Parents had a house there. Great memories and great fishing for sure...along with skiing...water is so shallow there now compared to early 90s. 😢

It’s a great little area. During These winter low tides I’ve seen it as shallow as 4-5ft in there

I'm near Cedar Key Florida. we go mullet fishing all the time with hook and line, so fun to catch, and I promise if they got as big as a redfish, you wouldn't catch him. They are super strong fast and never give up even when landed
