Glad to see the spinning reel rig being used vs. Using the bait caster... I just prefer no backlash vs. Possible backlash lll
@CaptCollier5 күн бұрын
@@anthonyvella2787 same here man. I feel like I can cast and present a lure just as accurate as someone experienced using a baitcaster.

I saw where you and Bayou Bandit went out fishing together. His flounder technique is jigging with a twitch twitch pause. Yours seems different, can you elaborate on yours?
@CaptCollier5 күн бұрын
@@gulfport69 it’s all personal preference. No right or wrong way to do it as long as your lure is touching bottom or very close. I basically just one hop mine. But I change it depending on depth I’m fishing

What's the purpose of ' tagging ' flounder or other fish? What happens when someone catches those tagged fish - do they release them, call a number on the tag, collect a prize? Do you report the number used when tagging a fish?
@CaptCollier4 күн бұрын
Sorry, I’ve explained in other videos. If someone catches a tagged fish it is encouraged to call the number on the tag or go to the website to enter the recapture information. Generally it’s just the length, when and where the fish was recaptured. You can chose to harvest or release the fish. Rewards are given for submitted recaptured fish! All this helps our state capture data on these fish learning about their movements and growth
