💎 My first finish of 2025! I wanted to have a memento of our move from the US to Canada, and this temperature blanket diamond painting seemed like the perfect thing. However, after completing it, I began to wonder if I had done it correctly or not. Maybe I didn't, but it's done, and I'm excited to frame it and hang it in our new Canadian home (when we get it!) as a reminder of our exciting adventure! 💎

Great idea! Years ago, I crocheted a temperature blanket for my mom, to represent the 9 months that she was pregnant with me. I gave it to her for mother's day that year and she LOVED it!!!

That is cool! I love how it turned out. You could even do half the day in Canadian temp and the other half in US temp. That would be kinda cool to compare the temp each day for both places.

I did 3 temp blankets. They are huge!!! I did the year each daughter was born and then my year of birth. It was fun!

LOVE this! 😍 I’m glad you’re framing it. What a great memento for your “year of the move”. Our daughter just finished her 2024 temperature blanket for London, ON where she’s attending her 3rd year of uni. The colours are very similar to your project. Her finish has inspired me to pick up cross stitch again after almost 20 years. She suggested that I use the lows for winter, an average for spring and fall, and highs for summer. I chose a daisy garden chart from Etsy. I’m also keeping track of the temps for Montreal, where our son lives. I found a super cute skyline pattern for him. Love your channel!

I did 2023 as a crochet blanket! And uh, it's still stuck with december left to do 😅 It ended up massive, and I lost motivation - it'll get done one day though. I've seen people do scarves or amigurimi snakes with the same idea, and I must admit having a super long rainbow snake plushie intigues me 🤭

I appreciate your feedback on my temperature kit ❤ Each kit is geared to your location - which is why you didn’t use the purples… where someone in Alaska would use purple and not the dark red 😊 I believe you had mentioned the whole scale of temperatures 😊 If you are looking to do multiple cities - you can purchase an additional bead pack (which would be geared towards that second city’s temperatures). Then you can divide the days in half, and record each cities temperature. I have one customer doing Ontario & Helsinki Finland Thank you again for the video!!!!

That’s kinda like a temperature crochet blanket. You could use the birthdates of your kids and their location of birth. My grandkids were born in different states and I have 4 grandkids

Ive done 1 blanket so far. 2023. Im going to do another for 2025 but it will be historical temperatures. Ive not done it in diamond art but dang it looks like fun. I might just do it

If you do it on a blank canvas there's a lady here on KZbin called stitching mommy who has different themes like flowers, paw prints etc. She designed them for cross stitch but would be simple enough to do as diamond painting 😊

I did a temperature dragon this year. It was a cross stitch pattern and I converted it to a diamond painting. It turned out pretty neat. This year I am going to try and do a snake cross stitch pattern one.

I love how your project turned out. Very cool! I knitted a temperature scarf a few years ago. I purchased the temperature kit you have. I am having issues with the glue though. The drills are sliding around. Did you also have that issue? I bought some DD Dotz stick glue and so hope that will take care of the issue.

I paid for a temperature project before and I never did it. It was cross stitch and I remember I couldnt quite understand how it was supposed to go so I never started it. I didnt do another one after that.
